Chapter 8

Sundance's POV

I looked at my phone and it was a message from Dean.

Dean - Hey! Do you want to go see a movie tonight?

Sundance - Um... Sure. But I will have to ask my dad first. What movie?

Dean - I was thinking suicide squad. What do you think?

Sundance - Sounds good. I am going to text my dad now.

I leaned over and told Hope everything that was going on because I was super excited. Then I quickly texted Lin.

Sundance - Can I go see a movie tonight?

Lin - Who with?

Sundance - My friend Dean. 😁

Lin - Is that a boy? 😞

Sundance - Yes. Is that bad.

Lin - Yes. It is a boy. But you can go.

Sundance - Yay!!!! Thank you so much. I love you Dad!!!! 😘😘😘😘😘😘

I started freaking out and texted Dean that I could go and me and Hope started walking to the coffee house.

Lin's POV

She called me dad!! Oh my god she called me dad!! As soon as she sent that message I texted Vanessa and Anthony.

I remembered I was watching Sebastian and continued watching Chuggington with him when there was a knock on the door. I walked over and opened the door.

"Where is she? Where is my Sundance?" So man yelled at me.

"Excuse me. Who are you?" I asked him.

"I am here father." He yelled at me.

"Um... I thought her father was killed."

"No. I am her real father. That was her step-father but she never knew about me."

"Then why do you want to see her know?" I asked him.

"Because I don't want her living with some stranger like you."

"I am not a stranger. And anyway she isn't home right now. She is out with her friend. Come back tomorrow after 5 P.M."

"Okay. Whatever. Goodbye."

"Bye."

That was weird. I immediately texted Vanessa and told her everything. She said she was going to check it out and let me know.

A little over an hour later Sundance came back and said Hope went home.

"You have therapy today." I told very quickly.

"No! NO! I had it Monday and I am not going again because I hate it. And I hate the stupid doctor person." She yelled at me.

"Well the doctor wanted to see you again and so we are going again. And the stupid doctor person isn't so stupid." I told her.

She ran into her room and slammed the door.

Sundance's POV

I ran into my room and started to cry. I hate that he is making me go to therapy but I also love him because he his my new dad.

Go. Go right now. Do it. You know you want to.

My inner voice kept telling me to get the razor and do something I promised I would ever do again.

I slowly walked into the bathroom and grabbed the razor. I started cutting my legs and fell to the ground crying. I landed right on my legs which caused me to yelp in pain.

"Sundance? Are you in there? It's Anthony." I started freaking out and tried to clean up the blood as fast as I could. Then he suddenly walked in.

"Oh my god. What did you do?" He ran over to me and I just fell into him crying.

"Shhh. It's going to be okay. Everything is going to be okay. Let me clean you up." He started wiping off the blood which made me whence a lot. "Sorry. Go take a nap now."

"Don't tell Lin please he will hate me forever." I told him then he walked out of the room.

Anthony's POV

I walked out of her room and walked down to where Lin was sitting.

"Is she okay?" He asked me.

"She is fine. She is napping." I responded.

He nodded and starting watching tv with Sebastian. An hour later Sundance walked back down and sat with us. We didn't talk about anything because we didn't know what to say to each other.

I just looked at her as she stared at her palms and then I tapped her on the shoulder and asked if we could talk. She nodded and we walked to her room.

Hello. Sorry I haven't updated recently. I started high school on Wednesday and I'm taking an early bird class which starts at 7 which means I have to get up at 5:45. Anyway I also haven't updated recently because I have been very self conscious about my writing. A couple people told me that since I was right handed that means I use the left side of the brain which is the smart side of the brain. And since I wasn't using the right side of the brain which is the creative side means I am not creative and they told me since I am not creative I am not a very good writer. So I have been very nervous about updating. Anyway I just wanted to tell everyone to go read SamTheOneLeggedBoy  books. They are really good and really inspiring. After I read his diary book I realized that if he can go through what he did then we all can basically get through anything. So everyone just stay strong. Okay well I am going to go now since this is a really long AN. Anyway please read, comment, vote, share, and follow me.
