Chapter 16

Sundance's POV

It is finally the day for my audition. I am so nervous because we are doing Hamilton. I am hoping to just be in the ensemble. We learned the dance and I was getting really nervous.

I went into my audition and suddenly got really nervous. I sang my song and did my monologue. I left and felt really good about it.

After I was done I went home and waited for the callback list to get posted.

"Sundance! Time for dinner." Vanessa called to me.

"Coming."

I walked downstairs and sat at the table. Vanessa gave me a plate of food but I didn't want to eat. I was to nervous and I was stressed out.

"Aren't you going to eat?" Lin asked.

"Not hungry." I said as I kept reloading my phone.

After they finished eating we sat on the couch and watched TV. I kept just starring at my phone. As I was waiting the doorbell rang.

I walked over and opened the door still looking at my phone. I just walked over and sat on the couch. I don't even know who is at my house.

"Hi." I heard Anthony's voice.

I was looking at my phone when suddenly it was ripped out of my hands.

"HEY. GIVE THAT BACK!!!" I yelled. Anthony ran up the stairs and I chased after him.

We ran into my room and I tackled him to the ground. I was laying on top of him and grabbed my phone back. We stared into each other eyes for what felt like forever.

He finally pushed me off and took my phone again. He ran off and I just laid there. I heard my phone ding and ran out the door.

I was running down the steps when I slipped down the steps and rolled down them.

"Are you okay?" Lin and Anthony ran over to me.

"Yeah. I think so. Can I PLEASE just have my phone?"

Anthony handed me my phone and I looked at it. I read the callback list. My name was 4th on the list. I started screaming. I jumped on to my feet and started dancing. My ankle was throbbing but I didn't want to worry about so I kept screaming.

Sorry it has been so long. I have had some trouble with my life and I've been so stressed. I have been gone all weekend on a retreat that changed my life. I am going to be doing so much more with my life so my chapter may slow down. I know this chapter is short and crappy. I want to thank everyone for 10k. I'm going to update again soon.
