"Now, does it hurt anywhere?"
"Really Wren, I'm fine I promise." I assured the stressed man in front of me.
"Are you sure?" He asked again frantically.
I gave him a look and he immediately nodded at me apologetically.
"Sorry." He mumbled.
I took his hand in mine and have him a reassuring smile. He looked up at me with no expression. I noticed that he looked at my lips for a mere second but he quickly tore away his gaze when the door opening interrupted us.
"Sweetie your wearing the red dress I gave you for your birthday last year. I haven't seen it on you yet, it looks beautiful... What do you think Doctor Kingston?" My mum stated.
"I think she looks stunning." He replied but he said it mainly to himself.
I saw mum smile and then she sat down next to me.
"I've just seen Hanna, the doctors say that she is improving too!" She exclaimed excitedly.
I smiled at her but couldn't help feel this weird feeling inside of me. Why was Wren acting so strange?
