The morning slowly came over the horizon as some fog had slowly come over the area and blanketed it so that visibility was reduced when it was sorely needed. To Haydrax, this was not good in fact this was really bad since the enemy was known to have tricks and traps laid down all around their holdings and if they were to avoid those traps, they were going to have to need clear visibility.

"Ah.. curse the weather..." suddenly growled Leonidius.

Haydrax looked to the Assault Marine before he said, "Alright, lets get moving!"

And with that the frontline began to abandon their trenches and advance into No Mans Land. Haydrax had decided to once again form teams from the group and he was quite proud at his decision so far.

Leading ahead with him was Alec, Chrima, Leonidius, Galek, Monster, and Jaxx as they were currently his assault team that would enter combat first. Although having two shotguns, a Hot-Shot lasgun, a bolt pistol, and a storm bolter wasn't really truly an assault, Haydrax would work with that he had.

Next was the support squad which was Phrix, Eli, Mac, Scarlet, Engelbart, Dewyer, Evan, Theo, Widit, and Angelo. Although the majority of the squad was lascarbines, the techpriests were also armed with grenades so Haydrax only hoped they spent those explosives wisely. They also were leading the Skitarii Rangers and Mechanicus Hyspasists that were still alive into combat.

Finally, there was the advance squad which was made up of Drake, Rex, Stark, Toombs, Logan, Stalker, and Shino as they were easily the groups fastest moving people with decent weaponry. Their job at the moment was to advance far ahead of the entire frontline and report everything they saw while trying to stay alive.

Although sending what basically is just a normal squad of Imperial Guardsmen as the vanguard of a large infantry movement wasn't the best idea, Haydrax was confident that they would hold their own in the face of the enemy.

And so, he marched with his group as they walked through No Man's Land still.

Stalker slowly clambered over some sandbags as he dropped into the trench as Logan and Drake soon followed him as their rifles were up. Drake still used the Lasrifle as Logan and Stalker used the Galvanic Rifles and as Logan looked into a small dugout, he saw no one within it as he then turned just as Shino, with a Galvanic rifle, Rex, Stark, and Toombs also dropped in and as they all looked around the abandoned trench.

"Something is not right.." said Logan as he looked around. "Cultists never leave their trenches... especially such a dug-in one."

"You're right.." muttered Stalker as he looked around at some of the corpses that were still around. Most of them looked like a day or two old.

"Hey, Haydrax.." suddenly said Drake over his radio within his PDF trooper helmet, "We gotta problem.... there's no one here..."

"No one? Not even the Cultists to weak to move?" asked Haydrax.

"No sir... Nothing even here except old corpses.." said Drake.

"Hold position until the other regiments appear... I will be with you shortly." said Haydrax as then Drake went up to the lip of the trench and looked out from it with his rifle up.

"See anything?" asked Rex.

"No... still a bit of fog in the way..." said Drake as he looked out from the trench lip.

"Stay frosty... the enemy is known for its crafts.." said Logan as then the group began to went to the lip of the trench and keep lookout.
