Chapter 29 - Riley anger issues

Ellie POV

It has been a rather busy week with the Alpha's pack visiting us, and I was delighted to have Alpha Drake as our final one.

I have noticed a sudden growth on my bump. Ramond has been very affectionate towards it, spending the entire morning cuddling it. He insists on accompanying me to bed every night, ensuring that he is there with me.

I had promised to break the habit of sleeping on the stomach, but he was not receptive to the idea.

When I entered the room, I noticed Ramond sitting in his chair. He became alert and attempted to suppress his laughter when he observed my slight waddling movement.

"It's not funny..." I whined.

"Aww babe, you look adorable," he chuckled.

I sat down on his lap. His arm went around me as he was already rubbing my bump.

Ramond was very attached to our pup, and it made me smile that he's excited to be a father despite me being 18 and him being 21.

"I really hate pregnancy! How do women do this?"

"Babe, not long now, okay? Tomorrow, we're gonna find out the gender."

"I don't see why I didn't have an earlier scan."

"Because the baby is perfectly healthy, Heartbeat is normal."

"Okay, Dr. Ray, wanna tell me the gender?" I joked.

"Boy, Boy, Girl."

My face paled.

"I'M KIDDING OH MY GOD DON'T FAINT ON ME!"

"Y-You can hear 3?"

"No, I hear one."

I sighed in relief. "Don't scare me."

"I'm sorry I shouldn't be scaring you in the condition you are in." he kissed my cheek.

"I want fooooood"

"Let's go get you your foooood," he mimicked, making me growl as he smirked.

Lorenzo POV

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE'S PREGNANT?!" I roared.

He cowered away from me.

"She's due in 3 months..."

"After she has that disgusting mutt pup, we attack."

"What if she has a little girl?"

"It won't work, His Alpha blood will dominate her vampire blood more, She's a full wolf mated to an Alpha."

"Yet she can die from our bite?"

"Her wolf gene is more dominant. Stop asking questions," I snapped.

Ellie POV

"Uncle Harry, tell your brother to give me my biscuits," I whined.

Uncle Stew was smirking at me. My lips started quivering.

"You give her those right now!" Auntie Kye hissed.

He mumbled something under his breath, giving it to me as I snatched it away.

"Yeah, get your wife on me, you little snitch," Stew yelled to his brother

Auntie Kye was staring at him with a hard glare with her arms crossed. I sat down happily, nibbling on my biscuit.

Riley walked in, taking a seat beside me. He went to grab a biscuit when I growled at him. He put his hands up in surrender. "Hello to you too, grumpy pants."

He looked to his Dad. "When is Ramond picking up his hormonal mate?" Riley huffed.

I gasped at that.

"Riley!"

"What? I don't want her around." he mumbled.

"You're such a dick!" I spat.

"What was that?" His eyes darkened.

"Ellie! Riley!"

We ignored her as I was losing my temper. "You do not talk to me like that!"

"What you gonna do about it, Luna? Kick me off the territory?!"

I stood up, grabbing him by his shirt. "I hope you love being locked up tonight. The dungeons seem cosy!"

"Is that a threat?" he stood up with me, still clinging on to his top.

"Son..." it was Uncle Harry. Auntie Kye placed a hand on my shoulder.

"Sweetheart, let's -"

Instead, I shoved him, knocking him down. He looked back up to my way. His eye colour was completely blood red. He unexpectedly pinned me harshly against the wall, his nails piercing into my stomach where my baby was.

"RILEY!" Kye screamed. Stew tackled him down. I gasped in shock as the tears fell. Dad barged in with Elliot.

"What the hell going on?"

Elliot nose twitch. "Why do I smell my sister blood?!" he was beside me in seconds and lifted my top up.

His eyes widened.

Riley stood up. "Elliot, I didn't -" Elliot had him by his throat as Dad wrapped his arms around me. I was crying and shaking in his arms.

"Oh, you're in shit because when Ramond sees that on his mate, you better run boy,"

"I-I just lost it..."

"Son, you have to control your anger!" Uncle Harry growled.

"Ellie..."

I whimpered, hiding my face into my father chest.

"Kylie, take our son out to cool off." Harry said as she grabbed Riley by the ear, pulling him out.

"Ellie..."

"Elliot, take me back,"

"Ellie -"

"Elliot, please!" he nodded, taking my hand.

"I'm sorry, Ellie," Harry whispered.

I didn't look at them as I walked out.

Was Clint right saying it was a mistake to make them live here on my territory?
