Chapter 24 - Cousin?!

Ellie POV

"Mummy, let's go play in the lake!" I giggled.

She looked very anxious but agreed to it.

Jesy POV

When will he be back...

"Mummy, look Daddy back!"

I saw my husband coming back with our son. He pulled me away.

"We need to run! Like right now."

"Why?"

"I accidentally ran into the beta of this territory."

"Vincent!"

"I know, I know, but we have to go. Alpha Derek will have no hesitation killing you. You're a Rogue!"

"Maybe I can talk to Luna Marie. Have you seen her with her son. I don't know why, but this seems like a really good place for Ellie Vincent."

"If anything happens, we send her here."

"Promise me, Vincent."

"I promise."

Vincent POV

"She was right," I mumbled. Harry just patted my back. "She was always good like that. She always knew if this person or place had a good vibe or not and... I should have listened."

"Vincent, I don't think we should be here..." she held Elliot and Ellie close to her. "We'll be fine," I reassured her.

"It wasn't fine... as we walked through. Someone grabbed Elliot, making Jesy scream. I told her to run and take Ellie safe, where as I went after him."

"ELLIOT!" "DADDY!" I tackled the person down, sending my boy flying instantly killing the guy, and I thought watching my son
being grabbed was bad... I heard my daughter piercing scream through the woods. She wouldn't stop screaming. "ELLIE!! ELLIE!" I picked up Elliot following their scent.

I frozed, placing my son down and hiding him behind me. "Lorenzo," I snarled. "Ah, my dearest Cousin,"

"COUSIN!!" Ramond screamed as the Pack gasped.

"Shh, Ellie doesn't know. Keep it down!" I growled. "My father, he had a twin brother. Lorenzo Dad. My uncle was murdered by your grandfather." I pointed to Ramond. "My father never held a grudge, and from this day, he still wants his revenge and what makes it easier. A family relative being mated to them"

"He wants to take down the whole wolf industry altogether. Starting with this one for revenge." My son said.

Ramond looks to his men.

"So now that we know the story and the layout. It's time to train. We protect our Luna and our future Alpha."

Ramond POV

It's been a few hours watching my men train.

'Let's check on mate.' I agreed to that going to our room, seeing her still asleep, which made me smile.

My wolf started whimpering. I frowned. 'What?'

'Turn her around. She isn't allowed to sleep on her stomach. It'll harm our pup!' He snapped.

Damn wolf...

'DO IT'

I rolled my eyes, slowly turning her onto her back and placing a blanket over her. I leaned in, giving her a kiss on the forehead, and went to the bathroom to have a shower.

As I walked back in. My wolf growled.

'I'M GONNA TIE HER DOWN.'

I tried not to laugh as I turned Ellie back onto her back. She growled in her sleep, which made my eyes widen. Damn...

I slipped in beside her. She turned around, falling on to me curling up.

'This fine?'

'For now until she gets bigger,' I playfully rolled my eyes to that, smiling down at my mate.
