Chapter 39 - Alpha Throat

Ellie POV

"Lorenzo..."

"Where was my invitation?" He chuckled.

Ramond tried struggling, but he pressed the blade harder onto his neck.

"The more you struggle, the harder I will press," he growled to him

Ramond was breathing heavily, trying to look at me. "Run," he choked out.

"You see if she runs, then I'll have to kill you."

"Run!"

"Lorenzo, you don't have to do this," Derek spoke.

"I came here for one thing, and that was for Ellie,"

"You already took my wife away. You're not taking my daughter away either! I've spent my whole life running away from you -"

"You should have stopped running, and maybe Jesy would have still been alive," he grinned.

He then looked to me. "Ellie, come here, or I will slit your mate throat open, What would those poor pups do without their father?" He fake pouted.

As I was about to take a step forward, Elliot grabbed my wrist. "I wouldn't do that, Elliot. Let your sister go, or you'd be responsible for your brother in law death, like you were for your mother's."

I felt him tense up. "Please, Elliot," he let go, but his eyes darkened.

I slowly walked over, standing by him. "Good girl," he shoved Ramond away.

Ramond went to attack when Lorenzo hand sunk into my chest where my heart was. I let out a choked gasp.

'NO!" Ramond froze.

I was whimpering out.

"Don't! Or she will end up like her mother as well."

"LEAVE HER ALONE!" Ramond roared.

"What you gonna do, Alpha? I can kill you, mate, with a click of a finger or... I can rip your mutt out right now from her too," he grinned.

"Lorenzo, stop it now! Vincent kids have nothing to do with our rivalry"

"Oh cousin, you see, that's where you're wrong. The James's family generation killed off our kind, our family!"

"We're at peace with them now!" Harry calmly said.

I was trying so hard not to move as tears fell. He pulled his hand out, making me breathe out a sigh of relief.

"Now I would kindly like the Luna and Alpha to the dungeon with me. If anyone tries anything, then they are both dead!" Lorenzo grabbed my arm.

"Alpha first," Ramond didn't move.

Lorenzo growled as he slowly twisted my arm, making me scream.

"ALRIGHT!" Ramond growled as he walked.

I looked to my Dad, scared when Lorenzo yanked me to follow him.

As we made it down there. He shoved Ramond in a cell, locking him in, then shoved me in the opposite cell, locking it as well.

"There... all nice and cosy, " he smirked.

Ramond continued to stare at him with a serious expression. He then turned his attention towards me.

My eyes widened in surprise as I instinctively placed my hand on my stomach. I used the cell to hold me up as I hunched over.

"Ellie?" Ramond sounded scared. Even Lorenzo was staring curiously at me. I gasped, whimpering out.

"Oww," I cried out.

"What is it now?" Lorenzo rolled his eyes.

At that moment, I experienced a sensation of water trickling down my legs. My eyes widened in surprise as I glanced at Ramond, whose eyes also widened, seeing what had happened. He then looked up at me.

"My water just broke!" I whimpered out.

"Oh brother," Lorenzo mumbled.
