Ellie POV

"I'm tired though," I whined.

"You've been sleeping all day!"

I giggled at that as he just shook his head smiling.

"Can you help me up?" I pouted.

He rolled his eyes and instead lifted me up bridal style, making me squeal.

He frowned, leaning closer. "It's stronger."

"What is?"

"Our pup scent. It mixes perfectly with yours." he purred, making me blush.

"Hurry up, the Alpha's are waiting,"

After changing and a brief car ride, we returned to the location.

Ramond ensured I was close to him by protectively placing his arm around my waist.

He's been very overprotective, and I can see why, but I'm not stupid! Much...

We took our seat settling down.

"How's the... vampires doing on your land?"

"Well behaved, they've been training up the shifters and warriors on a vampire attack," I spoke.

Ramond was quite shocked that I spoke up instead of him.

"I see Luna Ellie, Have you heard from this Lorenzo?"

"No, but he's like that. He can be sneaky. So everyone keeps your guard up." I warned.

Luna May started squealing. "Oh my god, you're pregnant!"

My eyes widened as Ramond chuckled.

"Congratulations."

"Thank you, Alpha Sam."

After another discussion and meeting, we were back home in the dining room.

"How about a day out tomorrow? Just me and you?" Clint asked.

I narrowed my eyes. "Will it stop me from calling you my ex best friend?"

"You said what now?"

"Nothing! Of course, silly."

He gazed at me with an intense look as I took a sip of my juice and averted my gaze.

"How do you feel about Ellie being a mother?" Riley asked Ramond with a grin.

"She's gonna be a wonderful mother." Ramond said with a warm smile.

I saw Nick fork making it way to my lasagna. I smacked it away, growling. "No one takes my lasagna."

"Don't steal her food. I've learnt that already, " Ramond warned. I kissed his cheek.

"So Ramond, how many Alpha's have offered to join the war?"

"5"

"5 packs damn."

"I just don't feel like that's enough packs," Elliot shrugged, sipping his mcdonald cup. I just love calling it that.

"Lorenzo can be making newborns doubling his numbers," Uncle Stew said.

"Exactly." Elliot added.

I just rolled my eyes at them, stuffing my face.

"Any names, Ellie?" I looked up.

"What?" I muffled with a mouthful of lasagna.

"Mum, it's been a few days since finding out!" Riley argued as Ramond grabbed a napkin, wiping my mouth after I swallowed it.

"I've thought of a girl name.."

"Really?"

Even Ramond was surprised since I haven't mentioned it.

"I was thinking Hope Marie James," my Dad smiled lightly at that with Hope being my mum middle name.

Ramond also smiled, too.

"I just thought she should be named after my mum's middle name and your mum..." He just smiled at me

"It's beautiful, I love it," he pecked my lips.

"And a boy?"

"I haven't thought of that one yet,"

"Xander, I like Xander," my Dad said. Elliot snorted at that.

"What's wrong with Xander?"

"I'm guessing you wanted to call me that?"

"....No."

"Yes, he did." I giggled.

"Your mother wanted to be original and give you two similar names." he chuckled.

"I don't mind it."

"What about you, Ramond? For a boy?"

"Haven't thought of any, but I like Justin,"

"Then it's sorted."

Ramond POV

It was perfect, Everything was perfect right now. A family meal with my Beta and Third in Command. I don't think she's realised, but she would rest her hand where our pup was or sometimes rub her belly.

She looked up at me and smiled. I couldn't help myself but give her a kiss. "I'll be right back," I mumbled. She nodded as I excused myself.

On my way to the bathroom. I heard something fall. And that was coming from my office. My wolf growled, sensing danger that was near our mate and unborn pup.

I opened the door, walking in. The chair slowly turned around to a very angry looking father.

"Hello, son."

"Oh, Shit."

"Why are there vampires in my dinning room?" I cleared my throat.

"You mean my dining room?" I pointed out.

"That is not the point, Do you not what those demons do to our kind?!" He slammed his fists on the desk standing up.

"Yes! Yes, I do! But those vampires are her family by blood!"

"Impossible!"

"Her father a vampire as well as her twin brother!"

He took a step back. "You're mated to a hybrid?"

"She's a full wolf, Dad, and I love her!"

"What would your mother say to this?"

"She would accept it, We kill rogues, and they're wolves too,"

"THAT'S BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO HUMANITY IN THEM!"

"NOT ALL VAMPIRES ARE BAD, ELLIE HAS TAUGHT ME THAT AND THAT IS WHY SHE IS DOING A GOOD JOB OF BEING A LUNA, SHE GIVES PEOPLE CHANCES"

He began growling. Initially, I believed it was directed at me. However, he was looking behind my shoulder. I turned around and observed Ellie's father standing behind me.

"Derek James, I'm Vincent Black Ellie father. It's good to meet the man who brought my daughter up."

"How?"

"I've been asking myself that since I met her mother. May I speak with your father alone? it'll be a civil talk."

I hesitated for a bit.

"Go on, son. I'll speak to you tomorrow. "

I just nodded, walking out. Hopefully they get along...
