"Eomma, I can feed myself." I say as she once again puts the spoon up to my mouth.

She sighs. "I know. I just don't want you to strain yourself."

"I think I'll be fine." I say with a smile.

She gives up. "Okay then."

"Thank you."

As I raise the spoon up to my mouth, my hand and arm shake. They're so sore I feel like they'll just drop off of my body. Moving is hard and breathing still hurts a bit.

When I woke up I was surprised to see myself laying in a hospital bed. Even more to my surprise, a private VIP room. My memory was a bit hazy but slowly I began to remember everything that happened. I almost had a heart attack when I saw the tube sticking out of my side. And not to mention how my body felt and looked.

"Finished!" I announce cheerfully.

"Alright. Put the oxygen mask back on."

I pout. "But it's so bothersome."

"The doctor said you needed to take in oxygen. Now come on."

I sigh in defeat and do as told. I do admit, it makes my breathing easier.

"Are you thirsty? Do you want so-"

"Eun Ha," Halmoni calls out, peeking in through the door.

"Ye?" Eomma responds.

"That person is still out there. Maybe you should-"

Eomma runs her hand through her hair and sighs. "No. I'll go and talk to him again."

I furrow my eyebrows. "What's going on?"

She shakes her head. "Nothing. Let me turn the tv on for you. I'll be right back."

I frown but comply. It's not like I can really get out of bed to find out for myself. Eomma goes out of the room, leaving the door cracked, and I turn my attention to the tv. A rerun of an old Running Man episode is playing.

My ears perk up when I hear a familiar voice.

"Is she okay?"

"I told you to go home."

"I'm not leaving. Not until I see her."

"I don't want you around my daughter anymore. Before someone recognizes who you are, please leave."

"Please, just let me see her."

"Eomma?" I call out.

There's a long pause before eomma comes inside the room.

"Yes, honey?"

"Who's out there?"

"No one. Don't worry about it." She replies.

I frown. "Really? It sounds a lot like someone I know."

She bites her lip hesitantly. "It is... Your friend, Jung Kook, is outside."

My eyes widen. "R-Really?"

"Yeah, but he was just leaving." She says quickly.

"No! Um, I mean, I didn't even get to see him. H-He can come in here... if he wants, that is."
