I scramble around my room looking for my school bag. I don't know how my room got so messy to the point I can't even find my things. And if I don't leave now I'll be late for school.

"Mom! have you seen my backpack?" I ask coming out of my room.

She stands there holding my bag. "It was laying out by the laundry."

I smile sheepishly. She places an apple and a carton of milk in my hand. She brushes my hair to the sides and kisses my forehead.

"Eat this on the way. Stay out of trouble, okay?"

I nod and salute. "Yes, ma'am."

She says that as if I make trouble. Mom smiles and I walk out the door. I press the down button repeatedly. Ignoring the fact that the elevator won't get here any quicker just because I press the button a few more times. And after what seems like hours the doors slide open and I hurriedly get in. The bus I need has already left so I'm left with running to school while trying to eat my breakfast.

"Pick up the pace!" A teacher by the front gate hurries us as the late students hurry in as I round the corner.

I make it into the classroom just in time. Hwa Young raises an eyebrow. Class starts and I take out my notebook, ready to take notes on he another monotonous lecture. It's not until a while later that we get a break when the bell rings.

"Wake up sleeyhead." I poke Hwa Young's cheek.

"Did I fall asleep?" She asks groggily.

"Hm, only for the hundredth time." I tease.

"Whatever. I already know all this. I lived in England for seven years. I know all the English I need."

I roll my eyes. "Well, Miss know-it-all, some of us actually need to pay attention in class."

"Whatever. Why were you late this morning?" Hwa Young asks as she checks herself in her compact mirror for drool.

"Woke up late. And I couldn't find my backpack. Also, I have big news. Like, you're not going to believe what happened the other day."

She snorts. "Not going to lie, it's like a jungle in your room."

"Hey...that's beside the point."

"Alright, spill the beans."

"The craziest thing happened on the way home yesterday. I met a celebrity. But not just any celebrity."

"Yoo Jae Suk?" Hwa Young guesses and I shake my head. "Song Joong Ki?"

"Younger." I tell her.

"Chu Sarang?"

I laugh. "No, silly." I lean in and whisper excitedly, "Jung Kook!"

She looks at me dumfounded for a moment before she nearly tackles me. "Jung Kook? As in Jeon?"

I nod. "Yes. BTS Jeon Jung Kook."

She screams. "Oh my Gosh! Lee Eun Kyung, how could you not tell me this? You met my future husband and you didn't even tell me?"

"Calm down, Hwa Young. I was going to tell you sooner but you were working so I didn't."

I glance around at the curious stares coming from my female classmates.

She throws her arms up exasperatedly. "How could you not tell me you met Jung Kook? I mean, have you seen the guy? He's gorgeous!"

"It gets better." I say and almost regret it as she squeezes my hand in a death grip.
