Jung Kook had walked me home. But the whole time I was distracted. What had he meant? What did he need to apologize for? I was confused. And I couldn't stop thinking about it.

"How was your day?" Eomma asks when I come home.

"Huh? Oh, it was good. Just like any other day." I answer, still in a daze from today's earlier events.

"Honey, are you okay? You seem kind of out of it and you haven't even touched your dinner."

I look up and smile. "I must be tired. I'm not hungry so I'll just go to my room."

Eomma nods hesitantly. "Eo."

"Goodnight." I say to the three of them as I head to my room.

I close the door behind me and lay on my bed. I couldn't get those words out of my head. It was driving me insane.

But, I was relieved. Thanks to JungKook, I was able to recall a small memory. It wasn't much, but it was the first step to getting back all of my memries.

With a tired yawn I snuggle into my covers and fall asleep.

"You guys have a test next Monday. I'm passing out these studyguides and I will collect them before the test. I expect everyone of you to get an A."

"Bow!"

The class stands and bows upon the class president's order. The teacher nods and walks out of the classroom as the lunch bell rings.

Everyone gathers with their friends as they head to the cafeteria. I grab my lunch box and start heading up to the rooftop.

"Nice view, isn't it?"

I almost scream and drop my lunch box. Though I manage to catch it in time. I put a hand on my racing heart and turn to the person with an annoyed look.

"Yah, you scared me to d- Jung Kook?"

"Are you surprised?" He asks with a bright smile.

"How'd you get in here?" I ask, ignoring his question.

"Your friend Jun Ho let me in. He let me wear his uniform and I just covered up my face and walked into the school. I was surprised at how easy it was."

"Okay... but why are you here?" I ask.

"I heard you were kind of lonely at school. So I decided to cheer you up."

I frown. "Who told you that?"

"A little birdie." Jung Kook replies vaguely.

I decide not to ask further, knowing he won't give me the answer I want. I take a seat at one of the tables and begin to unpack my lunch. Jung Kook joins me and sits across from me.

"I'm not lonely." I mumble.

"Really?" He asks, not buying it.

"E-Eo. I have you don't I? And I have my family and Jun Ho and that stray dog that lives near my house." I say, and start to ramble after realizing what I said.

He chuckles, but I notice the faint flush on his cheeks.

"Yeah. You have us. And you have the hyungs too. You don't remember them, but they care about you a lot. Especially Jin."

"Huh?"

He shakes his head. "Nothing. We should all get together soon. That could also help regain your memories."

I nod and begin to eat. Eomma had packed me kimchi fried rice along with some side dishes and an apple.

"Yesterday... those words, what did you mean by them?" I ask suddenly.

Jung Kook seems caught off gaurd. "What words?"

"About being sorry. What were you trying to say?"

Jung Kook leans over and eats the rice out of my spoon. He shrugs.

"I don't remember saying anything like that."

I glare at him. "Yah, that's mine."

He smiles cheekily. "Mian. I couldn't help myself."

I roll my eyes but I feel a small tug at the corner of my mouth. What was I doing?

I was eating lunch with a person I barely knew. And the sight of him smiling made me want to smile as well. Yes, the accident had definitely knocked me around a bit.

But oddly enough, I felt kind of happy to be eating with Jung Kook. But he didn't answer my question.

"You won't tell me?" I probe, bringing back the matter.

"You don't give up, do you?" He sighs.

"Nope." I say.

"Later. I'll tell you what it means later. Right now I'm hungry."

JungKook once again takes a bite out of my meal but I don't even bother reprimanding him.

"We have a concert this weekend." He says after chewing. "My parents can't come so I have extra tickets. You can come. And the eight of us can go out to dinner, like old times."

I shrug, a little surprised at his suggestion.

"Um, yeah. That sounds fun." I reply.

JungKook grins and bites his lip to stop it from widening.

"I'm glad. I'll send them to you. Lunch should be over soon, right? My manager is waiting for me." JungKook says.

"Oh, yeah."

"I'll see you later." He says and waves.

He heads to the door and slips out, making sure to leave before th students crowd the hallways on their way to class. I smile.

It was refreshing.

Eating lunch with a friend. A friend? Yeah, I guess we were more or less friends now. But something about this seemed oddly familiar.

A sudden flash of scenes comes to mind.

It was me and someone else. But I couldn't see their face. We were both sitting on a blanket on the grass eating lunch. I was laughing, probably at something he said.

I rub my temples as it stops and my head begins to hurt. What was that? Did I just remember something?

I turn towards the door where JungKook had left just moments before.

I knew you were special after all.
