'You.'
I don't know what to say.
'What?' I manage to let out.
'Liss, you stressed me out when you went missing. I pretended I didn't fucking like you, and I was a asshole. Im Ill because I've got a stomach in real life.'
That takes a little weight off my shoulders.
'Niall, sorry.' I say, and he gestures for me to come in. I go in, sitting on the edge of his bed.
'Its fine Liss. I know you love Harry, I've just got to get over that.'
'Mmmm' I hum, not really knowing what to think.
'How've you been anyway?' He asks.
'Fine. Sorry I didn't come and see you earlier. I was busy with-' I stop, not really wanting to bring Harry up again.
'Harry.' He finishes for me, and I nod.
'Im sorry I left without warning, I was just sick of everything. It upset me Niall, I heard you say you were constantly the underdog. And I felt awful when you told me you didn't like me and that you were sick of me.'
'I was being a dick!' He tells me.
'And I should have realised you liked me, I'm sorry Niall. There is a girl out there for you.'
'I might just live with my cats.'
'What? A handsome lad like you? Living with cats?' I ask, blushing when he just smiles. I'm probably sending him mixed signals. Saying I don't like him one minute, and saying he's handsome seconds later. 'You haven't even got cats!' I laugh, lightening up the mood.
'I don't like them either.' He gives a drowsy chuckle, and I join him. He seems to have a bit more life in him. When I walked in before, he was like a ghost. There seems to be more colour in his cheeks now, though.
'So you'll be coming into college Tommorow?' I ask.
'Now I know everything's fine, I would be, but we aren't in.' he smiles, and I nod laughing at how stupid I am.
'What are you doing for Christmas?' I ask.
'Family.' He tells me. 'Im going over to Ireland.'
'That will be good.' I tell him, hoping to god he doesn't ask me what I'm doing.
Luckily, he doesn't.
'I better be going.' I stand after a catch-up. 'Ive got to go and see-' I pause again.
'Harry.' Niall finishes for me.
'Sorry.'
'Liss, it's fine.' He tells me, pulling me into a hug, and kissing my cheek. He smells heavenly. I inhale his cologne, before pulling away.
'See you Tommorow.'
'Bye Liss.' He calls after me.
Just as I'm walking down the corridor, my phone rings.
Liam
-'Hello?' I answer, placing the device to my ear.
-'Hey Liss!' Liam's voice rings through the speaker.
-'How are you?'
-'Good thanks! I was just ringing to tell you about what happened when I spoke to Zayn and Maddie about why they are re-acting this way.'
-'Oh okay!' I sigh, finally happy that I might know why everyone's been ignoring me.
-'I'm meeting up with the pair later.'
