Our laughs echo down the hallway

"Rose? Rosalie?" I could hear him calling after me as I ran to the bathroom. I wasn't ready to deal with this yet. I wasn't ready to say goodbye to him. I still wanted these moments between us, the little ones, the ones I loved him for.

I closed the door, put down the toiletcover and sat down. A few seconds after a heard a knock on the door.

"Please Rose, can we talk? Please, let me in." I got up, looking into the mirror. I was still only wearing the robe and my hair was a mess. Tears on the brims of my eyes but I couldn't stop myself from not opening the door. Within seconds I was in his arms, and his lips were on mine.

"Ooh Rosalie." He whispered against my lips. He took my hand and pulled me along to the terrace where he sat me down on one of the chairs, squatting down in front of me. "Hey, look at me." I did and couldn't help but smile a little.

I grabbed his hand. "Will you tell me why you had that face of horror? When I said..." I couldn't bring myself to say it again. "...it" He nodded running his hand through my hair.

"I had that face because I couldn't believe it Rose, it has been years since anybody said that to me. I just didn't expect it to happen."

"But..."

"No buts, darling, I love you too, my little Rose, so much, really. I've been wanting to say it for days now, but I didn't want to push you. I feel like I've been doing that ever since Invictus and I just wanted to let you take the wheel for some time. You decide where this is going in the end."

"Ooh, Harry..." I pulled his face closer by his neck, resting his forehead against mine. "Thank you" I whispered, planting a soft kiss on his lips.

"Now, let's get that sexy ass of yours to the beach." I giggled and walked back into the room to put on my bikini. He followed me inside, stripping from his boxers into his swimming trunks.

"Will you join me on Saturday to the Royal Variety Performance?" He asked me, walking up to me and wrapping his arms around my waist.

"uhm, yeah, sure." I told him, kissing him lightly on the lips.

We landed in London around 2 in the afternoon and I had told Harry I still needed to go dress-shopping so he had fixed two cars to wait for us.

"I'll see you tonight, okay? I'll pick you up at 7" He kissed me goodbye and got in the car.

When I arrived at Oxford street I didn't know what to look for. What did one wear to a comedy show? I decided to walk into Topshop first, but didn't find anything I liked. When I turned the corner I spotted a Zara. I had read multiple times Kate had come out in a Zara dress and people had loved it a lot. When I walked in I spotted a long floral print dress. Once I tried it on I knew that would be the one.

The event we were going to was a comedy night hosted by Jack Whitehall.

It wasn't a red carpet event, we were just walking straight into the building. A few people were waiting outside and cheering at us as we walked in. We were guided to our seats in the royal box.

"Welcome to the Royal Albert Hall for the 103rd Royal Variety Performance in presence of his royal highness Prince Henry of Wales. The show is in aid of the royal variety charity of which her majesty the Queen is patron."

"As his royal highness makes his way into the hall, Beverly Knight prepares to lead the national anthem." I was sat next to Harry as God Save The Queen started and the director of the charity sat down on the other side of Harry.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome your host for this evening, Mr. Jack Whitehall." Jack walks out onto the stage, were a big british flag is being projected.

"Ooh, Ladies and gentlemen, good evening and welcome to the biggest night in showbizz, the Royal variety performance 2016!" the crowd erupts in cheers. "and an extra special welcome to a woman making her royal variety debut tonight: Miss Rosalie Clarke, Prince Harry's official girlfriend" a few claps were heard and a few giggles.

"I'm so excited to be here hosting royal variety, so excited to be doing so swell in front of one of my heroes. Prince Harry is genuinely one of my heroes. Have we got other Prince Harry fans in here this evening?" I gave a little wolf whistle, winking at him and taking his hand which he squeezed lightly.

"Yes man, that is the first time the royal box has ever been wolf-whistled before. I reckon there isn't a single person in this country that wouldn't like you to be put in charge just for a week. It would be amazing. It would be like when your parents go away on holiday and leave you the house." I couldn't help but laugh out loud. This guy was good. He glanced up at the royal box.

"Good, they're laughing. Otherwise this was going to be a very long night." Harry threw his head back from laughter. "The reason you are so popular is yes, you have done some incredible things, yes you have done some amazing work for charity including setting up the amazing Invictus games." The entire audience clapped loudly. "And yes, you have served your country with distinction in the British army."

"But more important than any of that, we look at you and we know that if you were one of our friends, you'd be one of the lads. There is no greater compliment that I can bestow upon a man than that. We look at you and think: there's the kind of guy that on a night out does not see a shopping trolley but a ride home."

"The kind of guy who sneaks out of the showers and steals everyones clothes. Then lays and waits with a coiled up towel for a glint of unguarded bottom." I had tears strolling down my cheeks by now.

"The kind of guy that when a friend passes out drunk on a night out, everyone around them is losing their minds, you'd be the man that steps up to that situation and takes control and goes: "Yo, guys, stand back, I've got this! You, get a sharpie! You, take out a camera-phone! You, hand me that razor, those eyebrows are coming with me."

"Because yes, ladies and gentlemen, he may only be a Prince, but when it comes to banter, all hail the King."Jack salutes Harry to which he raises his finger cautionary.

"I wasn't belittling anything you did in Afghanistan. I mean, the bravery, a ginger man in that heat. You'll get a victorian cross just for stepping out of the shade."

"I think I might move on with the show now. Genuinely lovely to have you both here."
