Heat Wave

As I open my eyes to a empty bed no Cj in it I got worried. I was about to get up but felt something on my shoulder! I brushed if off but it turns out it was my hair. I told Lynette to cut my hair low so when I start chemotherapy it won't be much to fall out. I went to the bathroom and just got in the shower and washed my hair and rinsed all the hair off and just decided to take a bath one time. I got out the shower and looked in the mirror and notice my hair was looking like them army hair cuts. And I smiled because I started to feel like Katy perry in part of me video. I walked out and put on some pajamas and Cj polo long sleeve shirt and his jacket what he left here. I got cold quickly and added a tam and two Nike socks. Lol yes if I'm in this hospital I'm going to be stylish. I went back to bed and got under the covers and pulled out my phone and notice I had a missed call and a voice mail. I went to put my phone on charge making me arch my lower back, then I felt someone came behind me and started to nibble on my neck and ears. I when I turned around I was about to say Cj but come to find out it was Jason. I didn't know what to say.

Jason- hey shorty I missed you. Now explain to me why I had to hear from Dez that your in the hospital?

Me- sorry I was meaning to call you but. Hold on wait. What Dez told you?
Jason- jus told me that you wasn't feeling well for the past few days and you had to be admitted in.
Me- oh okay. (Low key love Dez for not telling him).
Jason- so back to you why you in here babe. You okay?
Me- I'm fine, I guess the wedding is just getting to me I guess.
Jason- sigh I know I just bought Jayla her material for the dress and bought mum her material for her gown.
Me- sigh well my suit  is being shipped here by next month or so. I got z to make some calls and the designer Armani is making my suite.
Jason- damn baby you could of help me out with that.
Me- lol no you can do whatever or wear whatever Jason. I know I'm looking damn good.

Jason and I both laughed and he told me he brought me some flowers and he got a vase in poured some water into it and put the flowers in next to the window. He asked if I was hungry I told him not really but I'll eat something light. He said he's going to the cafeteria to get something and he will be right back. We kissed and he went out the door. I got up to make sure he was gone I closed the door and locked it and went to check my phone. I notice the missed call from Dez and a voice mail from him, and couple text from Cj and Lynette. I listened to the voicemail first,

Dez- omg avi I'm sorry I didn't know what to do. Jason came here all worried and scared because the house was empty and Lynette was home. I didn't tell him about the cancer thing but I just gave him some info to give him peace to say that your okay and stuff. I love you lil cousin but I don't want no part of this tell Jason before he finds out the wrong way.

Damn I can't get mad at Dez. I respect his decision. I texted him back assuring him that I understand and I love him no matter what and I will tell him when he gets back to the room. I started to message Lynette but a knock on the door and I started to say I'm coming and before I could say Jason full name there was Cj standing with a salad and a smoothie. My eyes widen and pulled him in quick. And closed the door. Cj started to come close to hug and kiss me but I pulled away and he was trying to figure out why because I never did. I paced up and down the room trying to figure out how to tell him. Before I could answer the door opened up and there was Jason standing with a bag of my favorite fruits and a salad for him with 2 sparkle waters.  I put my hand on my forehead rubbing it so I wouldn't get a headache.

Jason- yo Cj that's you bruh?
Cj- yeah man in the flesh.
Jason-damn yo after our brunch date you fell off the earth.
Cj- yeah I know had to start things fresh ya know.
Jason- that's awesome man. How's the hubby?
Cj- he great tbh he's sick so I told him I would visit him today before work.
Jason- damn you the husband material now. I know who ever he is he's a lucky dude.
Cj- yeah he is something special. So what brings you back home yo thought you was getting ready for your wedding. And by the way congrats best friend.
Jason- thanks bruh that means a lot. But I came home to see my shorty. Haven't seen him in a month.
