The morning came and I said that I'm going to live life and look at it with a brighter view. I'm checking out the hotel and going to look for a place big enough to handle my baking shop. I walked out my room and headed to the checkout counter so I can check out. I was wearing a rip jeans my polo pink shirt and was rocking some pink and white and high top nikes I ordered custom made. I the dude behind the counter wasn't bad looking but wasn't my type. He kept taking long trying to check me out, but I knew what he was doing so I laughed. I said excuse me sir if u want to talk to me you can, I don't bite but I would appreciate if you hurry up and check me out I have a business meeting at two. He sighed and said sorry was waiting for the checking out process to be accepted. I told him it's okay and don't worry about it. So he handed me Something to sign and I got my cards and passport back and he asked if I'm single. I told him yeah but I'm not looking either. I told him he's cute but not my type but to have a good day and wait for the right person to come along. He chuckled and said you do the same. As I head out for my car I notice I didn't turn my phone on yet, so I did and when I turned it on I saw over 100 messages in my phone 50 missed calls, and 20 voicemails. I didn't bother to answer them because I knew they were from Cj Jason and Dez and Jason mum. I got in my car and notice it was only 10 am so I had time to go look for a place. So I got some Starbucks and went to get the papers to see if any restaurants was on rent or for sale. I called around and didn't get any answers. So I decided that I'll try another day. But when I flip the page I notice a house that looked like a restaurant almost. So they didn't had no number but they had an address and it wasn't far from where I was at the moment. So I got my stuff and drove over there to see if the owner is there. I pulled up and notice it was gated and need some work so. But that didn't depressed me, I opened the gate and started saying hello and nobody answered so went to the door. And nobody came. I looked around and I couldn't find anything. I went back outside and wasn't paying attention and notice this big ass pit bull running towards me and all I could do was get on top of my car and scream for him. I know it was a bitch move but hey. I was there for 5 minutes and this dog was so big he was trying to climb on my car but his legs was to short. After I screamed out help I notice a guy with a leach running so he can grab the dog. After he apologize saying he was trying to bathe his dog and he got loose. He wasn't paying attention until he looked up. His face looked so familiar but it didn't click to me who he was. He looked at me like he was shocked but continue to say oh I'm sorry didn't know that was you. I asked if he knew me. He smiled and said yeah so to give him a minute so he can tie up his dog. I climbed down and waited and looked at my car and saw all the scratches on it and sighed. When I turned around he was standing there with a women who looked sort of familiar as well but I'm thinking who were these people. The women stepped closer and said my nickname like she knew me. I told her only my dad use to call me akai. An she started to tear up and said welcome home my nephew. I looked at her like wtf my aunt? I knew I never met my dad family but I never thought I would meet them here and of all the right time. She said how did I find them I told her that I came looking at that building so I can open up my bakery. She looked at me and smiled and so did the guy. I'm like what is going on why are they smiling. She grabbed my hands and told me that faith brought me here today because that building was my grandmother bakery. I told her I only had one grandmother and she died before I was born. She said no baby you were born after she died. Said come lets go to my house so we can talk more because we have a story for you lol. I followed her and the guy next door and when I saw past the bushes was a 3 story house pink and white with flowers all over the place. It was like a rainbow in this yard. It was a beautiful site to see. We entered the house and I felt a cold chill came over me when I walked in and saw a picture of my dad and me and some other people around him. She didn't stop me but when I got closer I picked up the picture and notice my father me and people that looked familiar but I didn't know them. Tears begun to come out my eyes and I couldn't hold them. I turn around and the lady looked at me like she was telling the truth. I asked her who are you, she smiled and tears came down her face and she came to hug me and said I'm your aunt Vera. I'm your fathers 2nd oldest sister. And this is your cousin Jordan. He's a year younger than you. I had to sit down and let all this sink in. I have a family and I didn't even know. I told her that this is impossible because my dad never spoke about family and my mother said he was an only child and his parents died and he didn't had no one but my mother. She came and sat down and started to give me the whole run down but I couldn't handle all this all at once. I told her to give me their number so I can come back and talk more because this is to much for me right now especially how I'm feeling. I walked out and didn't look back but went to my car and tears ran down my face. How could my father not tell me that he had a family. I looked at the time and notice that it was almost two and I drove straight for the fry to meet up with josh. When I got there I notice he was talking to this girl and I walked up to him and he came and hug me and said I'm late. I laughed and told him I have a life ya know. And he smiled and looked at my face because I was waiting for him to introduce me to this girl he was with. He was being a clown and said oh my bad, um avi this is my sister Krystal, Krystal this is my friend avi. We shook hands and said nice to meet you and damn you hella sexy. I laughed and she said no I'm serious phat ass slim waist short. Damn I would strap the fuck out that body. I'm started blushing and said well sweetie I don't do half hours sex. I like to go until it's almost time for work. She laughed and said no sweetie keep that ass you want me be dry up and limp. We all laughed, josh told his sister to leave since she already met me. She rolled her eyes and smiled at me and said nice to meet you avi and I said like wise. She walked off and said okay I'll go to work I'll see you home later. He said yeh yeh yeh. I giggled because I knew he didn't wan her see him being all sweet and stuff. We walked in and sat down and we started talking and he was smiling from ear to ear showing that gold tooth of his. I asked him if he got that gold tooth because he knew his smile was good for it. He laugh and said he had that from high school and his ex paid for it. I told him he seem like he still in love. His smile went from I'm loving it to damn. I saw it and said omg sorry that I said that and we can talk about anything else. He said no it's cool it's just that he don't know much he can hold on. He said that him and his boyfriend was in a relationship from high school and when they got in a fight after 4 years he said his boyfriend went and sleep with a dude who gave him HIV an now he's in the hospital, fighting for his life. I notice he started to cry but I grabbed his hands on the table and I told him to be next to him and to make sure that his face is one of many he will see. He said that he boyfriend family doesn't hate him because they knew who the dude was who gave him it. It was a family friend and they never thought he had a perverted way about him. But he doesn't want to because he know he won't be able to be there and witness his love leaving him after all they been thru. I told him to cheer up because if love is the thing that drives you then wit will hurt but will make you stronger than before. After my little pep talk he started to feel good and said that I give great advice. I told him that I have bachelor degree in physiological and business. He said why don't I start my own counseling session. I told him I never thought about it because I always took and made sure my boyfriends was good. He looked at me like how many relationships I been. I laughed and said I only had 3 boyfriends but my longest was 5years and my recent relationship was 2 years. He said damn your really a long term relationship type guy. I chuckled and told him yeah I am. But he said in all the, years I never once thought about my life my career or anything. And what said hit home to me. Jason always wanted me to stay home and do his paperwork for his lounge and Cj wanted me to stay and bake stuff for his studio and some for my personal life. But I never did anything for me and on my own. So I said that from here on I will be doing me. I need my footprints to be laid on this earth. So I told him if he needed a ride and he said yeh his bestie told him to swing by. I told him okay. I paid the bill and we head for my car but my phone began to ring and I notice it was Jason calling and I had no choice to answer.
