Joe woke up and smiled at me. "Morning Joeeee" I screeched.

"morning Gabbie" he chuckled to himself.

"I've got a message and I have to work today and also I have to get my bank card sorted so I'll be out for today"

I decided to tell him straight away instead of ignoring it as I'm gonna have to do it sooner or later. I can't stay here forever.

I took a shower and added a bit of make up I wore my black ripped jeans and a white top with my vans. I said goodbye to Joe and kissed him on the cheek.

I am getting really comfortable around him it was never so easy with anyone else.

I arrived to the Nando's where I was working. I worked here for half a year now I never had enough money to go to a university so I ended up working.

Two familiar faces walk trough the door it was Josh and Jack followed by other 2 girls. One was blonde and had green eyes and other one had brown hair.

Although they only seemed as friends I didn't want to speak to Jack so I asked my fellow colleagues to cover their table for me.

As I was clearing up a table next to the restroom Someone tapped me on my shoulder when I turned around I felt kind of guilty for ignoring him. " hey are you alright? I sent you a message but I guess you didn't see it" Jack said sounding concerned but he didn't seem like the type of person that would care how you feel.

" I know you saw the message... " I bit my lip. " I did but it's none of my business" I said trying not to sound jealous which I'm not sure why I would be. Yes, he is a good looking guy but I've only known him for a day.

" look I don't know what I've done but I really wanna be friends..." He said giving me an apologetic look.

"I've only known you for a day" I responded followed by silence from both of us. I sigh "but I guess we can be friends" I gave him a smile and he stretched his arms out for a hug which I accepted.

Josh and Jack waved me goodbye as my colleague approached me. "They left you a tip" She said giving me a 50 pound note. My eyes widened and I stood there shocked.

Once my shift was over I got changed and pushed the door open only to reveal Jack sitting outside playing on his phone.
