It was it the moment where Jack should of just crashed his lips on mine and kissed me like it was the only thing in the world to do.

But instead... my pocket started to vibrate. I awkwardly pushed Jack back so I could reach into the pocket and at the same time the man called out to tell that the food was ready. I check the phone in my hands and realised that I forgot to leave Conor's phone at the house but how was it turned on? It had numerous calls and messages from the same number I saw Jack approaching so I showed it in my pocket and held the power button as I attempted to shut the phone down. "You alright?" He questioned regarding my little shuffle in the pockets. "I'm fine, just tired, I get fidgety when tired" I awkwardly laughed it off. "Come let's go beautiful" he motioned to them door.

I opened it and held it till he squeezed through them. We kept walking till a bench that was not that far from the place where we sat down. Jack quickly sat down while I was taking ages to do so for some reason, I could feel him intensively stare at me. "Explain to me now, why are you staring at me when you have a perfectly beautiful pizza in front of you?" Light laughter was in the air from both of us as I cheekily grinned. "You are genuinely so beautiful, Gabbie." This felt so cute and slightly cringe now that it followed my pizza remark. "Well... not too bad yourself" I chuckled while scrunching my nose at how ridiculously cute he was looking with the massive grin on his face. "I just want to kiss you so bad" he looked like a school boy admitting his love to a girl he fancied for whole of two days his head was down not making any eye contact. "I honestly do not know how I feel about you... I don't know how I feel anymore I don't want this to be me jumping into something just because I think I fancy you, maybe that's what was wrong in the first place. As much as I think you are very fucking attractive and I want to kiss you I wanna do it when i know a hundred percent this is exactly what I want" honesty is the best policy.

"You don't need to explain yourself, I'm happy to just be here for you" he took a hold of my hand and we finally got to eating. I felt my pocket vibrating like it was on fire. I pulled out Conor's phone out of my pocket to reveal a screen covered in messages but before I could read any of them his iPhone has died. "Oh god I thought I turned it off" I whispered quietly so only I could hear but i guess i am not that quite and he is not that far away. Good one Gabbie.
"Turned off what?" Curious Jack questioned.
"Umm the bloody washing machine" well I am amazing at lying. "You know it does turn off by itself right" fudge. "Yeaa I know but I forgot that you need to take the clothes out of it so they don't start to smell" I mean that was better but. "I really need to go home it's late, I need to actually finish moving in tomorrow so" Jack was absolutely confused but agreed to walk me home as we lived on the same block.

"Thank you for walking me, that's really nice of you" he just shrugged his shoulders and smiled at me. I wrapped my arms around him and have a wick kiss on the cheek. As I pulled away his smile was still there as he was bitting on his bottom lip. Good god why have you created him. "Bye Jaaaack" "Byee Gaaabie" he mimicked my voice.

I sprinted to my empty apartment full of boxes and rummaged through the one with my phone cable in it and have placed Conor's phone on charge just to see what were the messages about. Once the phone turned on I have read all the messages displayed on the screen and for heavens sake this is going to go down really bad.
