Once Joe left I got a call from Caspar asking to be his date to some event that he had that evening I agreed since I had nothing better to do and it was the weekend, maybe it will help me get my mind off of everything with Jack and Joe.

I hopped in the shower and applied light make up and put on a tight black skirt with a long sleeve sheer top that had a low v neck. Caspar was meant to pick me up any minute but knowing Caspar he was going to be late, I decided to do my hair and as I was finishing it the door bell rang. I grabbed my purse bag and sprayed some perfume before opening the door. It wasn't Caspar, it was Jack, he was soaking wet as I guess it was raining outside.

"Hey I was just gonna check up on you today, wanted to make sure you were okay" he shook his hair to get some water out and ended up splashing me slightly making me laugh lightly. "Oh are you going somewhere?" I realised that I was standing in my outfit for Caspars party and full make up. "Um I was waiting for Caspar he said he had a formal party to go to today and wanted me to accompany him" I stood out of the doorway to let Jack and he walked straight into my new apartment. "He said he will be here any minute. Do you want a towel or something?" I realised how soaking wet he actually was. "Yes please"

I walked out of my living room and went to the bathroom, as I was about to grab the towel my bag rang.
"Hey Gabbie, there is a slight storm outside so I thought it's best to stay in" I didn't know what to say but I wasn't feeling like going out anyways.
"Okay Caspar have a good night".
"Thank you, I promise you I will take you somewhere, since I cancelled so last minute". "Don't worry about it Caspar its fine"
"bye" "bye"

I grabbed the towel and walked into the living room I passed him the towel as he dried himself. "Caspar cancelled so I guess I'm going to be staying in" I grabbed a glass from one of the boxes and poured myself some water. "Fun" Jack replied still drying himself. "Hey, it's not the best weather outside, you don't have to go home now, maybe wait for it to calm down... here?" My mind started running laps oh no Gabbie where are you going with this? "You sure?" I was not but since it was already out there I looked him straight in the eye and nodded. "Sure, I'll stay"
