Once Joe has dropped Oli off at his house I moved to the front seat. " so tell me what happened" he questioned me without taking his eyes off of the road - for both of our good because I'm about to look like a mess.

" Well, I don't actually have a family or a home, i live in a foster home with adoptive "parents" " I said the word parents extremely sarcastic because they are not really good parents. "When I was thirteen I got adopted by a couple, at first they seemed nice and caring but that wasn't for long... after a few months of being nice they started to have fights and drink and almost forgot that I existed. Soon they broke up and the mother died from overdose so I was left with the father. He started to blame me for everything for ruining their relationship and for his wife dying and that's when things took a dark turn and I started to run away and avoid him as much as possible but everytime he got to me it would get worse and that's how I ended up in the hospital I guess"

Joe gave me a devastated look and once again sighed " You should have told me"

I looked down at my hands as I was playing with my fingers. I had no answer to what he said, I don't like to put the burned of my life on others especially on the first time I meet people  "it's fine we are going to figure something out" he said as he took a hold of my hand with one of his. " for now you can stay at mine"

As we arrived at his house I could not help but stare it was huge. It had 2 floors and the inside was plain yet well decorated.

" here this is the spare room, you can sleep here. Hope the lights and the camera don't terrify you" he said laughing. I smiled feeling a bit uncomfortable. "You probably want to take a shower, why don't you do that and I'll order us a takeaway"
" I don't have any clothes" I said looking at the floor. " wait I'll bring you some of mine" I nodded and sat on the bed as Joe disappeared and reappeared at the door.

He handed me a white t shirt and some shorts followed by some call boxers in small " that's the best I could find for now" I smiled at him and said thank you once again giving him a small hug as I made my way to the bathroom.

I looked at my self in the mirror as I still had traces of mascara on my lash line and my hair was a knotted mess. I quickly jump in the shower and let the water run through me suddenly making me feel a bit more comfortable.

I stepped out of the shower with a towel wrapped around me as I dried myself and slid the clothes on. I towel dried my hair and left it to naturally curl.

I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled to pull myself together. As I stepped out of the shower some cold air hit me.

I could hear Joe talk on the phone " I'm sorry mate but not today... I don't feel like partying much .... Yea mate ... See ya" once he placed the phone down I have stepped into his kitchen.

" you are done!" He said excitedly as the door bell rang "this must be the food" he gave me a smile and approached the door.

He came back in with the food. We talked some more over the dinner " thank you so much for everything I don't know where I would be now if not for you" I said " you really don't have to do this, I swear I'll find a place by Tommorow " he looked at me strangely " look it's fine you can stay as long as you want, I just want you to be safe"
