  Len's POV

I woke up in an unfamiliar room. Where am I? Inilibot ko ang tingin ko. I got off the bed and went near the door. I'm about to open it when it opened on its own before a girl went in.

"O,gising ka na pala. Ok ka na ba?"

Tiningnan ko sya. I saw her name plate.

"Oh...I'm the school nurse and you're here at the clinic. So...how are you feeling?"

That answered my questions.

"I'm fine now. May I ask why I'm here and who brought me?"

Kumunot ang noo nya.

"Hindi mo alam ang nangyari sayo?"

I just stared at her. I wouldn't ask if I knew. I can't remember anything. Ang alam ko lang, I was on the corridor, walking towards my next class. Then I woke up here.

She sighed.

"Of course, you wouldn't ask if you knew. You fainted. That's what he told me."

Napakunot naman ang noo ko.

"Who's he?"

"He's the one who brought you here. Well, I guess, he's not a student at this school. He's not wearing the uniform."

Lalong napakunot ang noo ko.

Who could that be?

"Sya nga pala, pinapasabi nyang mag-ingat ka daw palagi."

Napatingin ako sa kanya.

"Did he said kung sino sya?"

Umiling yung nurse.

"Hindi pero sabi nya kaibigan mo daw sya. And wag ka na daw ulit aalis ng bahay ng hindi kumakain." And she patted my shoulder.

Kumain naman ako. I was about to argue with her when I realized something. It's an alibi.

I just decided to leave that clinic.

Kaibigan? Could it be Lance?

  Someone's POV

We're now here at the front of a big tomb where the names of died demons are written. At first, I saw him smirking but after those names appeared, his emotions turned upside down. I knew it's his plan. So he already found her but unfortunately his plan did not succeed. He grabbed his own hair and screamed out of anger. Then, he walked angrily back to the palace. I looked at the newly-written names at the demon's tomb. You went against the wrong person. I knew it.

  Len's POV

I went straight to my next class. Kaklase ko dun si Lance. It's good that our professor is still not here.

Kumunot ang noo nya pagkakita pa lang sa 'kin. Umupo na 'ko sa upuan ko which is beside him.

"San ka galing? Hindi ka daw pumasok sa klase nyo kanina sabi ni Ina."

Napakunot ang noo ko. Hindi nya alam? So...it's not him?

"Hey, anong nangyari?"

I looked at him. His face is full of worries.

Umiwas na lang ako ng tingin.

"Wala. Kumain lang ako."

Hindi muna sya nagsalita. I looked at him at puno ng pagtataka ang muka nya.

"Tumawag ako sayo kanina at sabi mo kumain ka na. Kumain ka ulit?"

I was alarmed. How could I forgot?

"A-ahm...di na ba pwedeng kumain ulit?"

Hindi na sya nagsalita. Tiningnan ko sya and I saw him looking at my hands na nakakunot ang noo. Napatingin ako sa kamay ko at nakita ko ang isang itim na panyo na nakabalot dun. Memories flashed on my mind. Naaalala ko na. Then, I just saw Lance's face full of doubt as I hid what he saw.

Now, how I'm going to explain this?

We're now here at the school's garden. He pulled me after that. Palagi na lang kaming hindi nakaka-attend ng klase. Kaka-absent ko lang and now I'm not attending class again.

He took my hand with the handkerchief.

Tinanggal nya yun and he saw my bruised hand. I got that when I punched one of that men. Tumama yung kamay ko sa hawakan ng espada nya.

"Anong nangyari sayo?"

I did not answer him. What will I tell him?

"What happened Len?"

And he looked at me.

I stared at his eyes. Then I sighed before I diverted my eyes in different direction.

"I don't know."

"Y-you don't know?"

"Hindi ko alam kung sa'n ko nakuha yan. I just woke up at the clinic. I don't even know how."

Silence dominated us for minutes then I heard him sighed.

"Pwede bang mag-ingat ka."He gently said.

And he took something from his bag. He rolled the bandage on my hand and he took his handkerchief and tied it over that.

Hindi ako sumagot. I just looked at him silently while he's doing it.
