..."How was daycare?" I teased my brother after entering our house. "Shut up." He grumbled in annoyance causing me to giggle. "Did you two find anything useful?" Sasori muttered. "I'm going to start my search tomorrow. Since I'm a new member I sat back to see how the group works. If I just jumped in they'd be suspicious. Tomorrow I'm going to start being a bit subtle in bringing it up, after all woman are much more difficult to trick than men." I explained to Sasori.
"I spent today like a nervous toddler and one of the daycare ladies offered to take me on a tour tomorrow so I get familiar with the place, which is exactly what I was going for." Deidara informed. "I'm being trained right under Isao." Sasori spoke of his own position.
"Good, but just remember Sasori-Danna. Touch my sister and I'll turn you into art!" Deidara yelled causing Sasori to smirk. "I kissed her cheek today." He told him, just trying to taunt the blonde. "You old pervert!" Deidara growled before tackling the redhead.
The two males rolled around on the ground causing me to step away from them. "S-Sasori? D-Deidara?" I questioned. Neither listened. Sasori seemed to have the upperhand due to his large size, and the fact that he couldn't physically feel pain, but Deidara was a smaller target so he could dodge more easily.
"Boys, stop!" I pleaded, now stepping in. I took Deidara's wrist trying to pull him away but a random flail causing a loud slap to echo through the house. asori and Deidara both froze, looking up at the blonde girl who was clutching her cheek in pain from where Sasori had hit her.
Sasori-Danna! Look what you did!" Deidara yelled before running to my side. Sasori was still in absolute shock. "Deimara, I..." The redhead trailed off. "It's fine." I murmured before pushing Deidara away. "I'm going to make dinner." I declared before exiting the living room and entering the kitchen.
Opening the fridge, I found a package of miso and some vegetables as well as some tofu. Taking the food from the fridge, I put some water in a pot and put it over the stove before allowing it to heat up. I washed the vegetables and pulled out a knife and cutting board before carefully cutting them into smaller pieces.
By the time I finished cutting them, the water was boiled. I put all the vegatables in the water allowing them to cook for a bit will I cut up the tofu. While I was waiting, I put some water in the kettle and got out three mugs and put a tea bag in each one. After a couple minutes, I put 4 tablespoons of the miso paste in the water and carefully stirred it. It cooked for a bit longer before I put in the tofu and took it off the burner.
I got three bowls from the cupboard and even divded the soup between them. Each was placed at the table before a spoon was set beside each. The water was definitely boiled by now so I poured some water into each cup before stirring. Each cup was placed at the table with a small stirring stick.
"Sasori! Deidara! Dinner!" I yelled, my voice echoing across the walls. The two males entered the room, sitting at the table. The table was round and someone small so we were each sitting beside both others. "Deimara. I'm sorry for hitting you earlier." Sasori grumbled.
"It's fine, really." I replied as Deidara and I began to eat. Sasori did not. "Is there something wrong with the food?" I questioned. "Puppets don't eat." He replied. "Oh. Well next time please tell me before I make it. You can go." I told him. With a brief nod, the male left the room.
Deidara was the next to finish and sprinted off leaving me to finish my soup in silence. I finished off my tea before standing with a sigh. I took the food I made for Sasori and put it in the fridge for someone else to eat later. I put all the dishes and utensils I had used in the sink before filling it with soapy water.
