I don't know how long I've been lost in this void.
It feels like it's been an eternity.
Everything is so dark.
I can't figure out where I am.
It's blackness, everywhere I turn.
There's no where to go.
My mind feels light.
It's floating.
But I can't see the start and end.
I can't feel anything.
I can't move anything.
It's silent.
Sometimes I hear things, but they never last long.
I could hear voices earlier, but they disappeared soon after they begun. Has everyone given up on me? Is this it? Perhaps it's my fate, to wonder alone in this void for all eternity. How ironic, an eternal death. Someone I knew used to speak of art.
He called it eternal.
I can't remember who.
My thoughts have scattered all over this place, I can't find them. They're floating as if they were in outer space, but many have been swallowed by the black hole of my mind. My memory seems to be slowly seeping away, the longer I'm here. I keep seeing visions, but it's strange. I keep seeing two males. One had red hair and brown eyes, the other with blonde hair and blue eyes.
They're always with a girl.
She had blonde hair and blue eyes, just like one of the boys. I felt recognition at all three, but I didn't know who they were. It was strange as I saw these many things, randomly appearing in the dark void. I kept feeling like I knew them, but I just couldn't see them.
I think they were memories.
There's a headband sitting outside a large village on a rock. The gate leading into the village and the headband each share a symbol, two rocks. But the headband is different. There's a scratch through it. But it wasn't just a headband, it was placed there by a boy with blue hair and blonde eyes.
He looked relatively young, as he began to exit the gates. A young girl with strikingly similar features sprinted out of the gates, tightly grabbing his arm as more explosions came from inside the village. There were tears in her eyes as she fell to her knees, not wanting to let go.
They were speaking to one another, but I couldn't make out the words. The girl seemed to scream and cry, trying to pull the boy back to the gates. She was desperate. But the boy refused to what she wanted. His moved his lips, and I heard them. I heard his words.
"I'm sorry, but I promise I'll find you again. And I won't let you go, un..."
Those were the words the boy spoke to her before there was an explosion. The boy turned to run off as the girl was sent flying backwards, harshly connecting with the ground. She remained unmoving, laying as she watched the boy run off. She couldn't move, her leg had been broken.
After a while, more people came from inside the gates. They glared at the girl with anger, throwing untrusting stares. She cried out, begging for help. She was begging them to help her get her brother back. But she was simply grabbed and carried away, screaming and crying as she tried to get to the gates where the boy had left.
Apparently, her brother.
The scene disappeared, leaving me in darkness once more. There were pictures, pictures of the boy and girl. It started with both of them, but the boy stopped showing up in the pictures. And it didn't take me long to realize why. He abandoned the girl.
