Sasori POV
"Well, you handled that one well. Huh, puppet?"
I looked up at the blue-haired female with narrowed eyes, a harsh glare forming. She seemed to have no reaction, moving closer before using her arm to send the many things flying from my desk. A low growl rumbled in my throat as my supplies hit the floor, creating a relatively loud noise.
"What do you want now?"
I lowered myself to the ground, lifting the materials back to my desk. My eyes were glued away from her, setting my tools gently back into place. Clanks of metal rang throughout the room as they landed together, the puppet arm I was working on placed slightly towards the side.
The blueprints scattered over the desk as they were dropped, myself quickly checking for the one I'd been working on before Konan's interruption. Through the large stack, it wouldn't be a guaranteed easy find. As well, if it was not easily found then Konan would be in for quite a surprise as I would not be happy.
"Well there's something you don't see every day, never thought I'd live to see you blush."
My fist tightly clenched at her words, my head turning away slightly. She rolled her eyes, her expression seeming rather annoyed. A growl rose in the back of my throat, annoyance heavily beginning to take over. She had no right to taunt me. Hell, she had no right to know anything about our relationship.
"Why do you care? The brat shouldn't have told you in the first place!"
"Wow, you really are pathetic. All of this because you were upset she told me, and because you were perving on her since she was covered in ice cream."
"Well she shouldn't have said a damn thing to you!"
"Well, then who should she have come to when she was upset?" Konan spat.
"Who do you think? She should have came to me!" I retorted.
"There are some things she can't go to you for, Sasori."
"She knows she can come to me with everything!"
Konan scoffed at my words, her arms crossing over her chest with a dark scowl across her face. She looked at if she was tightly biting the inside of her cheek, trying to slightly calm herself before continuing. Although despite her attempt, her words were not that calm.
"Well then why was she so afraid to tell you she really wanted you to take her on a date, huh? The second she brought up the word you had nothing but criticism."
My eyes narrowed at Konan's words. Who the hell did she think she was? Waltzing into my room, telling me what to do and how to act. The female had never been in a relationship before, not one that I knew of, anyway. She had even less experience in relationships than myself, she couldn't possibly have more knowledge than me.
"So? I don't need to take her on some stupid date, she knows I care for her."
"Well if you like her so much, would it kill you to try and do something special for her!?"
"What's the damn point? It's not like we never do that kind of stuff when we're on missions. We go around in public, I get her something to eat."
"You really are an idiot, aren't you? Don't you understand how much she cares about you?"
"I care about her too, but it doesn't mean I have to take her out in public and make a fool of myself!"
"No wonder she used to call you a heartless bastard, she certainly wasn't far off the market. I don't know what she expected going into a relationship with you, but clearly she thought wrong."
