I do not own the picture.

Deidara stopped in the door way as he peered into the nursery, frowning as he saw me. He came closer and reached out to tickle his fingers against Deikara's stomach. The little redhead giggled at the feeling, babbling various sounds towards his uncle. Deidara attempted to take him from me, but Deikara started to fuss a little so he returned him to me.

"Why didn't you wake me up, un? Did you sleep much?"

"I couldn't sleep, hm."

"Deimara, you need sleep, un." Deidara scolded.

"I know... It's strange to sleep without him here. I couldn't fall asleep."

"Do you want me to take the day off, un?"

"No. Just go, I'll be okay."

"Alright. But I'll tell Konan to drop by."

"Okay. Have a good day, don't strain yourself!"

"Try and take it easy, and try not to spoil him too much, un."

"Yeah, I know, hm."

Deidara then exited the room, leaving just myself and Deikara. He looked up with me with his chocolate brown eyes, a smile forming on his lips. Sadness washed over me at the sight, every feature reminding me of Sasori. He had just walked out last night, and he still wasn't back. But he did have work, so I guessed he was probably at work. But by the time he got home, he'd be tired and probably wouldn't want to talk.

Looking at the time, I figured Konan wouldn't be over for about an hour. That would give me enough time to get ready, get Deikara ready. walk into town, talk to Sasori and come home. Deikara just stared up at me as I stood and I rose to my feet. The trip down the stairs was a bit more awkward when holding a baby, but I didn't slip like the first time so that was good. Luckily Deidara had managed to catch me and Deikara the first time.

I slipped on my shoes and made sure the little redhead's blanket was on properly before exiting the house. The wind blew slightly, although not very hard, and the temperature wasn't too hot nor cold. Overall, it was a beautiful day. I moved down the little path through the trees and entered the main street and soon enough I was blended in with the crowd.

My eyes rested on a little food stall and quickly scanning the menu, I saw one of Sasori's favourite foods. I moved to the side of the street where no one was walking and quickly counting the money I had on me, realizing I had just enough. As I approached the stall, the man who worked there gave a polite smile. He seemed to 'aw' a little at Deikara before taking my order.

"Thank you very much, Miss." He grinned as he handed me a brown paper bag.

"Thank you, have a nice day, hm." I replied.

Turning away, I continued down the street until my eyes finally fell on the library where Sasori worked. I didn't understand why his hours were so long, especially when it was just a library. I entered the store and an old lady sat at the front kindly.

"Excuse me, but do you know where I could find Sasori?"

"Sasori? I'm sorry, but he quit two weeks ago."

"H-he did what!?"

"He came into work one morning and quit, I haven't seen him since. Is something the matter, dear?"

"N-no, i'm fine. I apologize for bugging you, but he didn't tell me, hm."

"You're his girlfriend, aren't you?" She questioned.

"Y-yes... And this is our son."

"I take it that things aren't going very well?"

"I prefer not to talk about it, hm. Thank you for you help, have a good day."

The elderly woman nodded as I turned, exiting the library. Nothing made sense any more to me. He... quit his job? And why didn't he tell us? But if he quit his job, then that meant he didn't have one. But then if he didn't have a job, why was he always out working for so long? Deikara whimpered softly in my arms, myself humming softly to quiet him down again.

As I moved through the town, my eyes eventually fell on Sasori. He was at a flower stand looking at the arrangements. Immediately I walked closer, Sasori handing the money over to the stand owner. The woman who owned the stand got a bouquet before holding it out. Sasori nodded as he turned and began to walk away. I chased after him, trying to catch up, as he entered a café.

I opened my mouth to call out to him, but closed it once more as he sat down at a table. Sitting across from him was a brown-haired girl, the one who worked at the library. The one who'd been flirting with him that day when I went in. Sasori held out the flowers and her eyes widened before taking them with a smile. My heart ached at the sight, and I stumbled back a step.

"They're beautiful, 'Sori, I love them!" She chirped.

"I thought you would. I remembered you saying pink was your favourite colour."

"You remembered?"

"Yes. Anyway, thanks for letting me stay with you last night."

Hearing those words, my eyes widened in shock. Sasori... had spent the night at her house? Deikara sniffled from my arms and I looked down, trying to shush him before he made a fuss. The girl already had something, and when a waiter came over to collect the bill, Sasori paid for it. She thanked him with a smile before the two stood, walking closer together.

"Are you spending the night again?"

"Yeah, probably."

I could feel myself begin to shake, and then the girl's eyes landed on me. She seemed to be confused for a moment before she perked up, and I knew she remembered exactly who I was. She gave a smirk before looking back to Sasori as if I weren't there, before he looked back to see what she was staring at. But no way in absolute hell, was I prepared for what I saw next.

The girl shoved her lips into Sasori's, and I could feel my heart being ripped from my chest. The redhead made no effort to look away, and after a moment he began to kiss her back. I could feel the tears forming in my eyes, as soon enough they fell down my cheeks. It hurt to much to stand and just watch them together, but my body was completely frozen in it's place.

Why can't IÂ move?

The girl's eyes opened and they caught with mine, her arms lifting to wrap around Sasori's neck. It was then that I could longer take it, and I stumbled backwards slightly. Deikara burst into tears as the café door closed behind me, myself desperately trying to calm him down. But it wouldn't work. I couldn't get him to stop. He just kept crying and crying, resulting in people sending me dirty looks as I walked past. They wanted me to get him quiet, but I couldn't.
