"Danna? Have you seen Deidara?"
The redhead looked over in my direction from his desk as I sat in his bed, after searching for my brother in various locations throughout the base. He was no where to be found, and it worried me slightly due to his recent injury. After all, he should be resting.
"Itachi and Kisame took him to the hospital. He's fine, leader-sama just wanted to see if he'd need any medications. They should be back tomorrow."
I frowned slightly at his words, Deidara hadn't even said goodbye. But realizing something, a devious smirk came over my face as it came into mind. Sasori was a puppet, yes, but he had some human capabilities. It was possible, yet I wanted to see it with my own eyes.
Sasori blushing.
Without my brother here, it would be Danna and me for the rest of the day. Besides, no one else would really come to bug us. Well, unless leader-sama wanted us for a mission. But since we just got back and Deidara was injured the chances were extremely low.
It wouldn't be easy though.
Sasori's observant, he'll know I'm acting strange right away. But I can't make him blush without acting a bit differently, it just isn't possible. But, if he notices something to different then he'll get all suspicious, or he'll think there's something wrong which will be the exact opposite of what I'm going for.
"What are you plotting, brat?"
My entire body froze, eyes widening as they flickered over towards the redhead. He was looking at me with a raised eyebrow from his desk, reaching to grab a tool from on of his drawers. My mouth was closed shut, but Sasori wasn't satisfied.
"I'm waiting..." He clicked his tongue.
I averted my gaze slightly, and he rose to his feet. The bed sunk slightly beside me before a pair of arms wrapped around me. My head moved back, giving me the view of his face. He looked down at me with a bored expression, and I knew I had to say something.
"Well, um... I-I realized that, um, that...."
"That what, brat?"
"That we've... never been on a date, hm..." I mumbled.
"A date?"
"Don't you know what a date is?"
"Of course I know what is was, I just didn't think it was necessary. There's no point to them, going out into public and doing stupid things with one another. Couples looking ridiculous as they fawn over one another like idiots. I've never seen the point, and I don't plan on going on one."
My heart fell slowly at his words, because even though it was a cover so he wouldn't know my plan... it was true. We'd never been on a date, and I'd hoped maybe one day we could go on one. But he couldn't be bothered, so I guess that was it. My lips parted in a slight smile as I rose to my feet.
"You're right. I-It was just a stupid idea, just forget it. A-Anyway, I'm gonna go for a walk. See you around!"
I immediately exited the room, closing the door behind me with a deep breath. My feet immediately broke into a run, my vision going blurry. I didn't understand why this was upsetting me so much, it was just some stupid idea for a date. But... he didn't want to.
Why didn't he want to go out and spend the day together?
Thinking about it, Sasori wasn't huge on that sort of thing. I guess it was just part of his personality, he certainly didn't come off as the 'date' kind of guy. But couldn't he at least try it? For me? But... I was probably just being selfish.
