I've had like, a chapter spam in the last couple days.

Warning: HidaKo ahead (I don't actually know their ship name. But Hidan and Konan)

Onward with the chapter!

"Welcome home, how was work, hm?"

"Exhausting, un." Deidara groaned.

"You should of thought of that before you decided you wanted to be a construction worker, brat." Sasori teased.

"Says the librarian. Your job is so boring, un!"

"But I get paid to read and then put books on shelves all day. You're doing manual labour."

The two followed me into the kitchen, myself returning to the stove. Our home was not fully furnished, most rooms remaining empty. We decided to take priority with the rooms we'd use most. Currently the only rooms that were completed were mine and Sasori's room, Deidara's room, the nursery, the kitchen, the bathroom and the living room. The house was quite large and still had several rooms that we hadn't yet furnished.

We knew we were going to turn one into a play room, which ruled out Deidara and Sasori's request for a man cave, so our son would have some space just for him other than his room when he got older. Another would be an art room for myself and Deidara where we could work on our clay sculptures. Sasori would get an office, which Deidara was a bit jealous of, where he could do his own thing as well as work on his puppets. I wanted to avoid as many art wars as possible, so having them in separate art rooms would likely help.

I placed three plates at the table in their correct places with a smile as Deidara sat down. I went to get the tea but Sasori ushered me to my spot before going to get it himself. He poured three cups and brought them over before sitting at his own spot. He had been confusing me lately as he showed more human-like qualities. It had started ever since Deidara agreed to the question that Sasori had apparently asked him.

"Danna, why are you eating suddenly, hm?"

"What do you mean, brat?"

"For almost a month now you've been eating, sleeping and drinking water. You even take showers. Why are you doing it all of a sudden?"

"Deidara's helping me with a new jutsu. I'll show you soon, I promise, but not yet. It's a surprise."

"Fine."

The three of us dug into our plates hungrily, although Sasori didn't eat a large amount. He ate about half what he was given, before giving the rest to me. I had no complaints, and happily ate the rest. I found myself pretty hungry all the time, and my feet often ached. My clumsiness was unmatched, and kicks often came throughout the day. It became a normal thing, and I got used to it.

"Deimara, is that midwife still coming over later?"

"Yep, hm. Deidara, your boss is her father."

"Really? Tazuna's daughter, un?"

"Yeah, and she's bringing her son, Inari. He got excited when he learned you would be here, hm."

"That kid is obsessed with me, un. It's like having another Tobi, but not as bad."

"Wait until this little brat is born, then you'll have a nephew." Sasori chuckled.

"I bet he'll think art is an explosion, just like his uncle."

"The brat's not that naiive, he'll think art is eternal like his father."

"Oh yeah, un?"

"There a problem, brat?"
