This one-shot will be based off the prompt 16) How about a one-shot based on Gasoline by Halsey? If you haven't listened to it you should, it suits Bucky's Winter Soldier experience so well.  

I'm so sorry I haven't been keeping to my schedule but I've had a very busy past month including exiting events such as moving house, taking mock a-level exams, existential crises, Sherlock Holmes and friends being sick. 

So yeah, sorry about all that but hopefully soon I'll get my life together (but don't get your hopes up XD)

Are you insane like me? 

Been in pain like me?  

"MMMrrGGhhhhhh!" my screams of insufferable pain were muffled by the gag in my mouth, making me know that my agony was insignificant.

Bolt after bolt of electricity coursed through my skull, pulsing through my entire body looking for a way out.

There is no way out.

I wish they would just send me on a suicide mission already goddammit.  

I want to die.

My teeth sink into the plastic and my nails dig into the arms of the chair looking for some sort of release, some sort of numbing.

There was none. 

Do you tear yourself apart to entertain like me?

Do the people whisper 'bout you on the train like me?  

Kill them all.

I had to fit in with these targets just a moment longer; ignore the whispers.

No survivors.

I took out the man next to me, sending the targets screaming and running.

The chase was on.

One after the other I eliminated them; their cries meant nothing to me.

"You can't wake up, this is not a dream,

You're part of a machine, you are not a human being!"

I couldn't stop myself.

"Bucky, it's me! Stop this!" (y/n) backed away before tripping and falling down.

My body kept going towards her, there is nothing I can do. I'm having to take the backseat in my own body.

"PLEASE! PLEASE!" she yelled, her voice raspy and thick with fear. Her delicate hands were held up defensively, protecting herself from me. 

"Buck! Snap out of it!" Steve made the mistake of interfering, my body turned to him and began approaching.

Please, not Steve. 

I don't want to harm him!

Give me back my body! 

I think there's a flaw in my code,

These voices won't leave me alone.
