*at the hospital*
~I know I said Miley was the one there but let's make it JoJo~
When we got there, we saw Russy, Rev Run, and Justine. Justine was crying hysterically. Immediately, we ran over to them.
Diggy: ma! What's goin on?
J: Diggy! JoJo...
D: ma what happened?
She was crying so much that she couldn't even get her words out. She just hugged Diggy tighter.
D: dad what happened? What happened to JoJo?!
RR: Diggy...JoJo was shot.
D: w-what?! What?! No! No! What?! No JoJo's just fine okay! You're lying. You're lying!
RR: Diggy look at where we are. Look at your mother. Why would we lie about this?
D: no!
Diggy ran out and I ran after him.
Me: Diggy!
He didn't answer me. He just kept running and I followed. I was able to catch up to him, grab him, and just hold him.
Me: Diggy, it's gonna be okay. JoJo's gonna be okay.
He pulled away.
D, yelling: how the hell can you tell me that everything's gonna be okay?! You don't know that! Why don't you just go home?! You're not helping me by lying! Just leave!
Me: you want me to leave?
D: isn't that what I just said?!
Me: *sigh* Diggy I understand why you're so upset. I understand that you're going through a lot right now. But I'm not leaving you when you're hurting. *takes his hands* I'd rather walk in the dark with you than walk alone in the light. I'd do anything for you. Don't you know that? I'm not leaving you.
D: *sigh* you don't understand how much that means to me. Thank you. *hugs me* I'm sorry.
Me: no need to be sorry I understand. *wipes his tears* you gotta be strong for JoJo okay?
D: *nods*
Me: now let's go back in there. Your family needs you.
D:...okay
He took my hand and we walked back in there. He apologized for running out on them. Then he introduced me to Russy and Rev Run. Right now, we're just waiting, hoping for the best, expecting the worst, but mostly, we were praying.
