You know that feeling when you walk into a famliar place and all of your mermories from there come rushing back. Playing in like sort of a motage in the back of your mind. No? Well that's what right now feels like.
Walking down the familiar hallways of my old high school. The memories come rushing back. None of them good, of course. I don't let it bother me though.
This year was going to be different.
I walk down the crowded hallways. Heads turned to look at me. Whispers and stares all around me. I smirk to myself as I hear the little comments
"Who is that?" A jealous female voice says.
Boys checking me out, commenting to me friends. None of them knew who I was, maybe they did know my name at some point but forgotten.I reach my assigned locker, I easily open the lock. I can feel the stares of people as they walk by, boring into my back.
A boy leans against the locker next to mine. I sense his presence and turn to look up at him.
His smirking down at me, his green eyes twinkling with mischief. "Hey there" he says to me
"Hi" I say simply giving him my well practiced smile.
"I've never seen you around before" he says checking out my goodies.
Wrong I think to myself, we were in the same class for 8 years, up till 9th grade. His name was Hunter Higgings. An unfortunate name but the was still hot.
I snap my fingers "Eyes up here buddy" I say to him, his eyes flick back up to my face "And that's because I'm new here" I say giving him a coy smile.
"Feisty" he mutters "Well then new girl, what's your name. I'm Hunter by the way"
I know"Lillia-" I catch my self mid sentence "Lilly"
His smirk widens "Well Lilly, it's nice to meet you. I'll see you around" he winks at me and walks away.
Once he leaves I sigh and roll my eyes. Fuck boys, Eastdale was crawling with them. I had almost forgotten, almost.
I look at myself in mirror, trying to recollect my thoughts. My hazel eyes stare right back at me, it felt unusual to see that eye colour on myself.
My dark auburn hair farmed my high cheekbones and full lips.
I grab my books and binder and slam my locker shut a little too loudly as a girl walking by jumps a little.
I walk confidently down the hallways of Eastdale, swinging my hips slightly as I strut.
I head towards my first period class AP Biology Just because I was going to be popular doesn't mean I was going to act like a complete ditz ether.
I enter the class room, a couple of students already in there. The teacher barely looked up but most of the students did to gawk at the "new" girl.
I send a flirty wink to one of the nerdy boys staring at me and his face turns beat red.
I turn on my heel and sit in a seat at the back of the room. I set my books down on the desk and sit down.
