Amelia's Pov

"Amelia, kiss me."

Just hearing my name and the word kiss in the same sentence from his mouth made my stomach swirl.

I wanted nothing more than to kiss him but, "I can't."

His eyes looked sad.

"You're a trap Calum.. I don't want to be played with."

He looked mad now. "I would never, hurt you Amelia. Unless it was for your own good."

That last part made me shiver.

"How am I suppose to know that what you're saying is true?"

"Because you're mine. And I'm yours. I've waited for you for so long to come around and into my life and I wouldn't do anything to ruin that."

"Why do you keep saying that? 'I'm yours', you don't know me, you've never known me."

"I know you more than you think."

What?

Was he like stalking me or something?

This was too much.

I stood there silently praying that he'd just open the door and we could leave.

Thankfully there was a knock on the door.

Calum sighed and opened it. It was Luke.

"Sorry am I interrupting something?" Luke smirked.

I interrupted. "not at all. where's Cat?"

"Outside waiting for you."

"Goody." I scurried out the door and into the living room.

I said goodbye to everyone and gave my thank you's then went outside.

"Amelia!"

"Hey Cat." I smiled grateful her boyfriend saved me from that situation.

"Michael told me you two have a date."

I completely forgot about that. Only, "It's not a date. Just hanging."

"You're stringing along two guys, one I care about, one I could care less about. Just don't do this too long, you better choose one soon before someone gets hurt."

It was one for Calum to talk all mysterious, but now Cat? "I'm not stringing any of them along. I make myself clear."

"And what is it you're making clear?"

I didn't think Cat was like this. Was everyone like Calum in Sydney? "That they both seem like players and I don't want to get hurt."

"They're both going to tell you things that you don't want to know. But it's up to you to decide whom you're going to believe."
