I always daydream that I'm on vacation and it's dark and I'm walking by myself in an alley and I bump into Calum and try to act all cool and walk away but he asks me to wait and we start talking then eventually wE GET MARRIED AND HAVE TONS OF B A B I E S mhm ya

Amelias Pov

My eyes squinted open and I saw a white ceiling.

I slowly lifted my head and heard a deep voice say, "careful."

I turned my head and saw a blurry Calum. I got furious. "Get the hell away from me."

I looked around more and noticed we were in our hotel room.

I looked down at my body laying on the bed and I was in comfy clothes, I touched my eyes and there was no makeup.

this was the second time he's done this for me..

but I hated him now so he had no right to change me and wipe my makeup off. "I'm going home now Calum."

I flew my legs off the bed and stood up, my head rushed with dizziness and I fell forward and Calums strong hands caught me by the hips and my hands rested on his shoulders. "You need to lay down."

I lifted my hands off quickly and slowly laid back in bed. "Calum can't you just stop. What you did was so awful, I can barely look at you, why are you torturing me by being here right now."

He looked down. "I just didn't know how to tell you.."

"Its not that hard. 'Hey Amelia so I'm a douche and decided go cheat on you bye.' " Tears came like waterfalls from my eyes. " get out of here!" I screamed.

He took a deep breath and stood up. "I'll be back in an hour and we can go home."

He walked away and I heard the main door slam shut. I just laid back not caring that my tears were going all the way around my neck.

My phone kept buzzing and I reached for it and saw that it was Luke? I answered. "What do you want Luke."

"Whoa, I know you're in a bad mood but you don't have a reason to be. Well, not yet anyways."

"Shut up Luke." I spat and sniffled. "Youre only defending him because he's your best friend, don't even try."

"Kayla is my new girlfriend." he said. The word Kayla made my ears screech from anger.

Wait what? "Youre girlfriend?? Luke she's cheating-"

"No, she's not. Those texts were from me Amelia. I didn't have my phone and I was messing with him."

But.. "Why would Calum go along with it then? Does he want to..breakup?" I started crying again.

"No no Amelia listen, he was having a hard time trying to tell you that.. he didn't wanna ruin your vacation so he lied .. he didn't want you worrying so-"

"Luke come on!" I interrupted.

"Cat bailed your mom out, and no one knows where either of them are."

What? I hung up and used both my hands to squeeze my face to try and focus because the room was so dizzy.

Why..do people... keep... lying.. to. me. why..

My mom, with Cat? Why.. why..

Oh Calum... all those awful things I said, and awful thoughts, he would never cheat, ever. I'm so horrible.

He cares that much, I'm so stupid. I wish he would have just said the truth.

My mom. where is my mom? I just met her and now she's missing, that's not fair. I was going to find them. I don't care what it takes.

How is any of this possible? Maybe I fainted and everything that's happened this summer has been a dream, maybe I hit my head hard and I'm in a coma. What if I never had amnesia or anything? What if it was all a dream...

I snapped out of my thoughts and focused again. I couldn't tell the difference between reality and dreaming anymore, no matter what everything was fuzzy.

The door flew open and Calum walked in in front of me with his head down. I jumped up and flew into his arms. "Calum I'm so sorry. I'm the worst person ever please please forgive me I hate myself for all of it. Calum I love you so much you're the most caring guy in the world I love you I love you I love-"

I was interrupted with Calum planting his lips onto mine. When we broke apart I looked up at him and smiled, then we hugged each other tight. "I love you too so much, which is why I do everything that I do.."

"I know, I should have known."  I backed up a little. "I need to find my mom, why is she with Cat?"

"That's what we've all been wondering. We can't figure it out."

"Well she's safe right? Like they just took some road trip, she's not actually in danger."

He hesitated. "Of course not, Cat can't control the world, if she was doing something dangerous she'd be caught by now, surely."

"Right." I nodded.

I stood there for a moment amazed at how Calum and I bounced back so quickly to each other, no matter our faults.
