31. The phone project

A/N : Oh my god you guys. I love you all so much. Thank all of you for your messages, tweets, and comments about my issue a while ago. They meant the world to me, words can't explain how blessed I am for this fam, you guys are all my true friends. who needs a couple of fake friends when I have an entire 5sos fam (and other fandom) who care about me and are my friends. I wish I could go to my prom with all of you instead can you imagine? Your comments brought tears to my eyes, knowing how much someone cares for you is an amazing feeling and you guys showed me that. I'm so sorry about not updating, prom then act, then my 'friends' again. I just want you all to know that I care for all of you too and if ANY of you ever need ANYTHING at all I am here for you. comment , message , tweet , if you ever want to talk I will be there for you . bless you all you all really helped me and I love you guys more than anything, you all truly take after your idols. 5sos and the 5sos fam are there for each other always.

Amelias Pov

The next day I woke up and Calum wasn't beside me, I smiled to myself thinking of how we walked Manhattan yesterday and lived like Chuck and Blair for a day. Calum was so romantic with everything, I just love him so much.

I was fiddling with the ends of my hair when I heard Calums voice, I quietly got up and walked towards the kitchen and heard him mumbling. "Amelia will not find out."

I heard him walking and I lightly sprinted back to the bed and flopped under the covers like a dry fish with my heart racing. I closed my eyes with the covers over my face and tried to control my breathing.

"I'll talk to you later." I heard him say like he was four feet away from me.

All of the sudden he was crawling on the bed and cuddled me. "Babe wake up."

I tried to fake wake up as well as possible, I was never a good actress.

"You're so cute." he said and kissed my nose. "I'm going to shower then we can go eat breakfast on the roof."

I smiled. "Okay."

He got up and walked away, my eyes widened when I saw his phone fell out of his pocket and was laying on the bed.

I went to reach for it then stopped. What am I doing? I've always made fun of those girlfriends who checked their boyfriends messages.

But he did say he was keeping something from me, so investigating is fine.

I went to grab it again, I was getting ready to type the code in when I heard Calum running in the room. I tossed the phone back to its spot and laid down quickly.

He walked in and slowly picked up his phone, the light was still on with one number filled in, he was just looking at me though, "Forgot my phone, in case my mum calls, Ya know?"

I nodded still looking at the phone. The screen shut off and he looked at it. Then smiled at me.

I smiled back. Thank you jesus

After Calums shower I took mine and braided my wet hair to the side and put on a casual white Cynthia Steffe Cora Dress, with matching white Joie temple flats, my silver dannijo earrings and bracelet, white kara ross brevis clutch, then just a brown peace treaty necklace that I've never worn

I took a look in the mirror and had to admit, that I was really like this New York wardrobe more than my casual band t-shirts right now.

Calum and I quietly and awkwardly walked out the room, into the elevator and up to the roof, one couple was walking out as we were walking in and besides waiters we were the only ones.

We sat on a long white couch by the edge and there was lemonade on the table in front of us.

I kept fiddling with my necklace and looking at Calums phone that was sitting on the table.

"That's a nice necklace babe." he said while taking a drink. "Don't think I've seen it before."

"You like it? It's one of my favorites, I love it so much I never wear it, scared to lose it."

He smiled and took another drink.

"You have to look at the design in it," I reached my hands behind my neck and unclipped my necklace. It dangled in my hands and I dropped it into Calums hand. "Here take a look."

He held it up and squinted his eyes at it, not knowing what I was talking about. "Oh it's nice. I like it." he smiled.

He handed it back and I took it by the ends and held it up in the air and held it up to the sun over the edge a little. "If you hold it up to the light just right-..." I jerked my arms and dropped it. "No!"

I leaned over the couch and looked over the edge and down. "Calum do something! That's my favorite necklace oh god!"

He hurriedly set his drink down. "Babe it's okay, I'll go get it-"

"Hurry oh god that necklace!" I screeched.

"Okay okay" Calum hopped up and ran towards the elevator I had my hands buried in my face, when the elevator door shut I looked up.

I feel bad that Calums such a sweet boyfriend and would do that for me.

But no more secrets.

I unlocked his phone and took a deep breath scared of what I would find.

I clicked on the messages and scrolled down until I found something suspicious.

  What's this?

The elevator door opened and Calum was standing there holding my necklace smiling.

His phone in my hands.

"Amelia what are you doing?" I didn't answer my hands were shaking. "You don't care about this necklace do you?"

He dropped the necklace and walked towards me. He snatched his phone from my hand "What the hell Amelia-"

I stood up and my face was an inch from his.

"Fuck you." I whispered harshly. "Fuck you!" I yelled.

I ran towards the exit and started running down the flights of stairs and heard Calums footsteps running behind me and my name echoing all around.
