Chapter 6 : The Half Werewolf, Half wizard

Tahimik lang syang nakaupo at nagsusulat ng kung ano. I know my presence pisses her off and I'm guessing that she's the only girl beside Cret and Cress who doesn't act like an idiot whenever I talk or look at them.

"Alright since Ms. Sienna is a new student, let's talk about the first great war between light and dark. The first worlds war." Mr. Thayer said, making me look at him. Finally my favorite story. Tinanggal ko ang earphones ko at nakinig. Napatingin naman si Sir sa ginawa ko at napangiti, He knew he got me interested.

"Who knows who started the great war?" He asked, but no one dared to raise their hands kaya nag tawag nalang sya, "Ms. Perez, Any idea?"

Napakagat naman sya sa labi nya bago sumagot, "Uhm. I'm guessing na it was between the vampires and the wolves?" I just rolled my eyes.

"They were part of it, but no." Nagtawag pa sya pero wala ni isang nakasagot. Dang, paano ba sila nakapasa ng freshman and sophomore year? 

This is getting no where, "It was between the Angels and Demons," I murmured while looking at the courtyard. I turned my head to see them looking at me, "What? did I say it out loud?" I asked then I heard the girl beside me chuckled a bit.

"Very good Mr. Hayes, And yes it was between the Angels and Demons." Akala ko magiging interesante na ang araw na 'to dahil sa magiging topic namin but I guess I was wrong. Hindi naman kasi nya kinwento and favorite part ng story ko. Just another one of those days.

Sa sobrang occupied ng utak ko hindi ko namalayan na magt-time na. 'Di nga ako nagkamali dahil makalipas ng tatlong minuto nag-bell na.

Agad naman akong lumingon sa katabi ko, She was already gone.

Sienna

Pagbell na pagbell nagmadali akong lumabas ng room at dumeretso sa banyo, Pero bago pa 'ko makapasok may mga humarang na babae. At first, I thought they were the school mascots. Kapal kasi ng mga makeup. Masyadong makukulay akala mo nag lagay ng water color sa mukha at may mga makukulay na kung ano ano sa ulo nila. Parang mga tanga.

"Look who's here?"sabi ng parang leader nila. Line ng mga palengkera 'yan. I know kung saan pupunta 'tong scene na 'to. Gasgas na 'to, mali yata sila ng taong hinarangan. I know this kind of drama in this generation. The typical bullying scene.

"Tabi." mahinanon pero may pagalit kong sabi. I don't have time for these creeps.

"You bit—" Before she could even continue talking, I gave him a cold blank stare.

"Leave me alone or I'll break your wrist." Pagtutukoy ko sa kamay nyang naka hawak sa braso ko. I felt my aura increased briskly. I still have a trouble on controlling my aura. Padabog naman nya kong binitawan at agad na umalis kasama ang mga mumunting alipores nya. Ayoko sa lahat yung hahawakan ako. Sanay na ko sa mga ganyang ugali, pa-queenbee.

Napabuntong hininga nalang ako at nagmadaling pumunta sa susunod kong klase.

"Concentrate. Feel the whole area," 

This is boring. 

"Try to listen to your surroundings." Dude, I'm trying.

"The nature, animals and even the ethernano around you..."

I keep trying and trying sa walang kwentang hearing enhancement training na 'to. Hindi ako makafocus. Tyaka medyo ayos naman ang hearing capability ko. May kailangan pa bang itaas sa level na 'to? Can I just skip this class and go to my dorm or to the cafeteria? 

Paulit-ulit akong nagbubuntong hininga ng bigla akong narinig ng yapak. It sounded like he or she was trying not to make any sound but dahil sa nagkalat na tuyong dahon sa dadaanan nya but he was clearly failing it. I immediately opened my eyes while everyone still have their eyes closed. I tried to focus sa way kung saan ko 'yon narinig. Nasa labas kasi kami sa may vitae forest sa likod ng dorm. Dito ka pwedeng mamalagi.

"What is it Ms. Seréna?" My professor asked. Nakita nya pala akong parang naka focus sa iisang bagay. She's an expert when it comes to hearing craps pero hindi nya naririnig yon?

 I ignored her and focused harder hanggang sa mas nakita ko sya pero silhouette nya lang, silhouette na 'di ko maexplain. This is what I'm good at, kontrolado ko ito kaysa sa hearing ability ko na lahat ng imortal ay kayang ihasa. Depth perception. Enhanced ability that anyone can achieve by practicing it. You can see things, person or anything with a really far distance. I felt that he's wizard but there's something more. Like, his presence is way different than ours.

"Sinong nandyan?" Ma-otoridad kong sabi. I walked closer to it para makita ko ng tuluyan. 

"What the—" Nagulat nalang ako bigla ng  dahil sa hayop na lalaki na biglang pasulpot na tumalon sa harap ko. Bastos.

"Sorry I'm late," He then looked at me with an amazement look. Are you really sorry? "I'm surprised you easily sensed me eventhough I was in my were-form." Ano daw?

"Form?" I curiously asked and suspiciously looked at him. 

"She's new in here, Arvi. Introduce yourself properly." Mahinahong sabi ng guro kong parang wala lang sa kanya ang pagiging late nito.

"Ganun ba? sorry 'di ko nahalata," Napakamot naman sya sa batok nya habang nagsasalita, "I'm Arvi Tobias, Half wolf, Half wizard."

Like, the dog that can change into a human form?

I mean. A human that can shapeshift into a dog like creature called, wolf. 

The big hairy dog.

Nung una ayaw mag sink in sa utak ko ang sinabi nya pero ng mapagtanto ko ang lahat lahat napa 'What the wolf?' nalang ako. That's why I wasn't able to explain his silhouette aura because it was my first time to see it. I haven't seen a werewolf in my whole damn life. I didn't see him but I sensed it.

Bruh, I just found a dog!

I mean a wolf. Werewolf to be exact.

Pagkatapos namin sa hearing class, nagsibalikan na kami sa kanya-kanyang klase. I tried to ignore him after introducing myself but I guess I failed doing it. He actually made sure that I'm gonna be friends with him.

Pabagsak akong humiga sa kama. Dang, My body hurts. I felt like the heaven itself fell down on earth and I was unlucky enough to be the one outside to stop it. All by myself. In reality, sucked for me, I had to go and kill myself at Hand to Hand Combat training. Cretania didn't even went easy on me, instead, She made sure that I won't forget about my first HtH combat session. It was hell out hell. Worse than my self-training. First day of school is just too much for me. What will happen to me for the rest of my teenage life while I'm in this campus? Screw all these promises.

Kung nandito siguro si ate, mas masaya. I would endure it. Ma-eenjoy nya kasi ang mag-aral dito. She knew this school. Gusto nyang mag-aral dito noon dahil napag-alaman nyang dito nag-aral ang aming ina. I smiled because of that thought. I miss them. How I wish that, that tragedy never happened.

Sa pagod at kakaisip ko ng mga bagay-bagay unti-unti na kong dinalaw ng antok.

I heard a faint sound coming somewhere on my right side but I didn't bother looking.
