"Cress!!!" Sigaw ng pamilyar na boses. Ganda talaga ng name ko. Lumingon ako sa pinanggalingan ng boses na 'yon. Nakita ko naman si Luke na lumilingon sa paligid at napabuntong-hininga ng mapagtantong wala ng kalaban sa paligid. I was gonna greet him happily kaso napansin ko kung sino pasan nya sa kanyang likod.
"Luke— O MY GOSHHHH, what in the world happened to her?"
Agad akong lumapit sa kanila ng walang pag-aalinlangan. Naubos na namin ang mga kalaban dito sa baba kaya't kapante na akong gumalaw ng maayos.
"Long story. But right now, we need to get out of here. Let's wait for them outside—"
"Nah-uh." Says a strange voice. Before we could even turn our heads up, a big green ball of substance fell in front of us. Mabuti nalang at mabilis kaming naka-ilag. The impact created a loud explosion. Enough for us to cover our faces. When the smoke was gone, sinilip namin ang pinag hulugan nito. Our jaws dropped when we saw nothing but a big hollow.
Acid.
Umikot kami sa paligid para hanapin ang umatake sa amin. Then, up in the air, was a young woman—in our age— sitting on a floating slimy-like bubble. And, I bet it was an acid.
Ew.
Itinaas nya ang kanang kamay nya at nagpa-ulan ng maraming bolang asido. Kaya ngayon, ito kami, tumatakbo at iniiwasan ang kada asidong nahuhulog mula sa langit. Seriously? If I didn't know this was acid, I'd still avoid it. Bruh, this looks disgusting. Parang plema.
"Oby, don't you have those shield plant thing?" Luke screamed while dodging all the acids. I knew his main priority is to protect my sister. Plus, beasts and weapons aren't really a good match for an acid manipulator. Fighting against it would only be a waste.
"I think, I do." Oby answered. Then, a moment later, his hands lit up.
Oberon's big advantage with his power is that he can use it for both offense and defense. I saw his eyes lit up, too, as multiple purple vines came out and created an igloo, enough for the three of us to fit inside. Tama lang para sa limang tao.
"We have to fight." I said firmly as I looked at them. We're not gonna be able to get out without fighting back. She'll follow us and we'll eventually fight back. What's the point? Plus, we don't have our team leader who is a professional when it comes with tactics and strategies. Yes, I maybe a leader but not when fighting. I'm a Student Council Commitee Vice President not the Generals' team Commander.
