"So close, yet so far away...."
Third person's POV
Dinala ng dalawang nakatatanda sila Sienna at Zero sa isang malawak na lugar kung saan ay napapalibutan ng mga masisiglang puno. Iba ito sa mga kagubatan na minsan ng napuntahan ng dalawang bata.
"Lola, ba't tayo nandito? Nasaan ang iba?" tanong ni Sienna habang paikot-ikot ang tingin sa lugar. Noong nailagay na kasi sila sa kani-kanilang grupo, pumalakpak ang kanyang lola. Sa isang iglap, napunta sa nasabing lugar.
"We will stay here hanggang sa ika-pangalawang araw ng hulyo, taong X712." sagot naman ng kanyang lola. Bigla nyang naramdaman ang isang mahinhing daloy ng kapangyarihan galing sa kanyang lola, kasabay noon ay ang pagbulong nito ng isang enkantasyon, "At yan, mga bata," may itunuro sya sa bandang harapan bago itinuloy ang sasabihin, "Ang tutuluyan natin sa mga susunod na anim na buwan."
Sabay lumingon ang dalawa, kasama na din si master. Doon, makikita sa gitna ng kagubatan, ang isang katamtaman sa laking bahay. Gawa ito sa matitibay na kahoy na madalas ginagamit para sa paggawa ng mga cabin.
"What kind of training are we going to do?" Zero asked out of nowhere. The two elders smiled. Their main goal was to find their limit, especially for these two. With the full blessing coming from the gods and goddesses themselves, they can be put as one of the youngest wizard saint candidates.
"Your limitations..." pangunguna ng kanilang punong guro. Sienna and Zero frowned, confused on what their master meant.
What does he mean by their limitations?
"We will help you surpass your limit which what only you, can find. Our mere job is to help you surpass that." Sienna's grandma, Salinara, continued. She, then cast a spell which what made the two stare at each other. Henceforth, that made them even more confused. If they were in some kind of anime world, they would have multiple question marks on their heads. What the heck is happening?
"And, until the right time comes, you won't be able to see each other— even if you are in a same place." master Euston explained.
"Nasa iisang lugar kami...." - Sienna murmured, gently touching the mid-air— where Zero was standing.
"..... but we can't see, feel, nor hear each other?" -Zero continued, doing the same thing. They didn't feel each other's touch but master caught a glimpse of glow.
Their thoughts were the same even if they couldn't hear each other. Destiny was just too playful. Sienna could see the two instructors, but she can't see, feel, nor hear Zero. That same goes for Zero.
"Six months— and if it's possible, we'll surpass our limits as soon as we can." Sienna and Zero said in unison.
"Then, the training starts, now!" Salinara Aveniya interruped. Pumunta si Sienna sa tabi ng lola nya, at si Zero naman kay master Euston, na syang rason para magkasalubong ang kanilang katawan. Walang naramdaman ang dalawa pero may nakita si Salinara. Parang may kung anong pwersa ang lumabas nang magkasalubong ang dalawa. Tumagos ang katawan ng isa't isa pero parang may naghahatak sa kanila pabalik. Salinara couldn't help but remember a scene just like this one. She grabbed her granddaughter's hand and teleported somewhere far from Euston and Zero.
"Where are we?" tanong ng dalaga sa kanyang lola. Tumingin sa kanya si Salinara at lumayo ng kaunti.
"Somewhere far from them, but a walking distance from the cabin. Now, take your keys out." mahinahong utos nya sa apo. Sienna was still confused. but she did what she wanted her to do anyways. "Now, make them float. Katulad ng lagi mong ginagawa pag nage-ensayo kasama ang mga kaibigan mo."
