Chapter 54: Te Extraño

I gently put my luggage back to my closet. Mamaya ko nalang aayusin ang mga gamit ko na nasa loob pa nito. 

I, then glanced at the bed beside  me.

"She's not here yet, huh?" I whispered to myself. 

Pabagsak akong humiga sa kama at tumitig sa kisame naming may iba't ibang dekorasyon. Mostly, glow in the dark ang mga nandito. Cressida is a fan of cute stuffs hence the glow in the dark decorations in our room. Kaya pag pupunta kami ng bayan, una nyang pakay ay ang tindahan na may mga ganito. Kung hindi makeup ang hawak nya, mga pink o 'di kaya naman ay pambatang kagamitan. Nakakamiss tuloy ang kaingayan nya.

It's been a month since that day happened. The first training I had as an official full-powered sorceress of the stars. December 29 pa lang kaya ang ibang estudyante'y wala pa din. Marahil ay nagtataka kayo kung bakit. 

Hinayaan kasi kami ni master na makasama ang aming pamilya bago magsimula ang kahumihumindik na second semester.

Pinikit ko ang mga mata ko at pinilit matulog. Pero dahil nakatulog ako sa byahe kanina, wala na kong antok na maitutulog pa. Nagpasya akong tumayo at maglakad-lakad sa hallway. Malamig pa din kaya hindi ko kinalimutang suotin ang jacket ko bago umalis.

Buck moon is on its way. It's when the moon itself will appear larger and closer. Ang kulay nito ay iba din.

Purple. Purple like my aura.

They said that this full moon will either be the power source to open the gate— or it will be Demon Algol's power source.

Either way, we can't let that happen.

Buck moon is in seven months. In exactly July 9, X712 at 12:04 am.

Miss Lea and the Master said that we will have the full January to become normal students. Then, as soon as February 2nd comes, we'll be divided into three separate groups— together with the President of our student council, Oberon.

They said the training will be held by Miss Lea, Mr. Thayer, Master and three other more respective people.

The whole school already knew about it too, but they still act as if Master didn't say anything important at all. As if, they expected this to happen. "They're used to it", bulong ko sa sarili ko. Us, the five of us, will be leading the battle. After all that's our job as the school's protectors. We're trained to be one in case something like this might happen.

Hindi ko namalayan na dinala na pala ako ng mga paa ko sa tapat ng back window ng Fairies' Dormitory. It was the same window I used to sneak out and go to my hiding spot, which happens to be Zero's haven.

I opened the window making a smooth sliding sound. The cold breeze touched my pale passive face. Effortless, I jumped from the window, smooth and gracefully, landing on the ground. No sweat wasted.

Pinagpag ko ang mga kamay ko at nagsimulang maglakad papasok sa Vitae forest. We only had three weeks off but it felt like forever. I'm enjoying the feeling of being inside this peaceful forest, again.

My body froze when a familiar presence caught my attention. I quickly looked around to find him yet I found nothing but trees. I started walking again, hoping that I'll see what I was looking for. At first I didn't notice but when I started walking, my feet stopped on its own. In front of me, in the darkest part, was a silhouette of a man.
