Chapter 3: The Non Magic User

Sienna Astra's POV

Nakaupo lang ako sa table at walang nagsasalita. Nakakuha narin kami ng pagkain mula sa food hall. Sa hapag kainan, silence ate us. Tunog lang ng kutsara ang naririnig ko sa table na 'to. 'Di ko rin naman alam sasabihin ko dahil hindi ko naman sila kilala. Mamaya sabihin pa-close ako. Isa pa't wala akong balak magkaroon ng kahit na anong malalim na relasyon sa loob ng lugar na 'to.

"Hi, I'm Luke Kiran Hemswitt, just call me Luke. Masyadong mahaba pag full name hehe." The guy with a brown hair said out of nowhere. Aminin ko man o hindi, gwapo sya. Inabot nya naman yung kanang kamay nya habang nakangiti. Another hand shake. Uminom muna ako ng tubig bago nagsalita.

"Sienna." I simply replied pero hindi ko parin inaabot kamay nya. Rude man sa paningin nila pero yan ang kinagawian ko. He awkwardly put his hand down and chillingly shrugged. Cressida cleared her throat.

"He's-" hindi na natuloy ni Cress yung sasabihin nya when the brown-green highlighted hair boy interrupted her.

"I could introduce myself," Without looking sa kahit na sino sa amin. He licked his lips before continue talking, "Zero."

Okay....

Now what?

"HAHAHAHAHA bro, is that what you call 'introducing'? Well you guys sounds so much alike!" Luke teasingly said. The Zero guy looked at me with an 'oh-so-devilish-eyes' before answering.

"Am I supposed to tell her my full name and how glad I am to meet her?" He paused for a bit and took a sip of his fruit punch, "And it doesn't look like she's interested anyways, Why bother?" And with that, tumayo na sya dala yung tray nya at itinapon yung mga basura ng pinagkainan nya.

"Sorry, Sienna. Ganyan lang talaga 'yan. Bipolar masyado. Typical jerk-stonehearted boy." Cress awkwardly apologized.

"It's fine." nakita naman namin na papalakad na si 'Zero' daw pabalik sa table. Umupo na ulit sya sa harap kong upuan at prenteng sumandal. May bigla itong inilabas na parisukat na bagay, syang ikinabigla ko.

"Anyway, Cretania is coming back." He said as he slid his thumb down his magic communicator. Oo yun ang inilabas nya. Nahalata ko naman ang pagkabigla ng dalawa sa sinabi ni Zero.

"What time?" Luke asked.

"When?" Cress excitedly asked.

"Or.... Is she home already?" I dunno kung excited ba si Luke or kinakabahan?

"Or.... On her way?" Cress said. Why do I feel like these two are panicking for some reason. Cress is excited while Luke is uh? I don't know how to explain. Just panicking, I guess?

Who is she anyway?

"Now. Got home yesterday. And on her way back here." Zero simply said as he answered all their questions one by one, "No, scratch that. I think she's already here." tapos hinarap nya yung communicator nyang may dots at mukhang school na naka map version yung style.

"OMG!!" Cress reacted with exaggeration.

Luke let out an exasperated (mixed with some more unexplainable emotions) sigh.

"Who is she?" out of place kong tanong.

"My twin sister." mabilis na sinagot ni Cress. I could tell by the content of their names.

Before I could even ask Luke about his unreadable reactions, bigla naman kaming napalingon sa biglang pag bukas ng double door ng cafeteria. I suddenly felt the increased tense in the atmosphere. A silhouette of a girl, whose body were in front of the sunlight, came into the view. Naglakad sya sa gitna ng cafeteria at walang ibang maririnig kundi ang foot steps nya.
