The story takes place in San Clemente, California. The main character is Skylar Clarke. She has long red hair, big emerald eyes, and is 16 years old junior. She is dating Logan Smith; she had a crush on since fifth grade. Logan has shaggy blond hair and blue eyes. He is a surfer and is nicely tanned. In three months, it will be their one year anniversary. A lot can change in three months.
