It was just another typical day back at the university. I was like usual, playing wordsearch with my phone while the teacher lectured the white board with his weird accent.
"Ugh, when can we go home?", my friend, Eunbi lazily rested her head on the desk as I chuckled
"Stop complaining, Eunbi. You need to listen to the lecture", I shushed her as she nudged me
"Says the one who played wordsearch ever since the teacher walked in", she teased as I shrugged
"You're the diligent one, you can take notes so I can study it later", I slyly smirked as she scoffed
"I swear if you're not my friend, I'll strangle you", she then proceed to take her notes out and wrote what's on the board
I giggled at her gestures. She complained yet she still does it.
I looked up my phone but Wonho hasn't replied yet. I sighed and put it back to my bag
"Why are you so gloomy?", Eunbi said while eyes still glued to the board
"Just because"
"Yeah right, trouble in paradise?", I laughed a little at her remarks but nodded afterwards
"Wonho hasn't replied to my text yet", I frowned
"Oh, the coffee shop was busy and he's handling lots of customers", she nonchalantly answered as I looked at her weirdly
"How did you know?", I raised my tone a bit as Eunbi's eyes suddenly shook.
"Uhm, I don't know, I'm just guessing. Stop being so serious Sohee", she nervously laughed and write on her notes.
Weird.
The class was over and I bid Eunbi goodbye. We both lived in the same apartment but Eunbi said she's sleeping over at her cousin's house.
I decided to dial Wonho's number but it's busy. So I called up Jooheon.
"Yo Sohee what's up", his signature accent made me giggle
"Hey Honey, I'm just checking up on you guys. I heard the shop was filled with customers"
"Oh yeah! I was happy but so freaking tired at the same time", he complained
"That's great! Anyway, can I talk to Wonho? He hasn't replied to my text yet"
"Really? But Wonho just left earlier. He said he's going on a date with you", I raised one eyebrow at his statement
"Huh? He said he can't go out with me tonight", Jooheon went quiet
"Wait, uhm, I was just wondering if Wonho ever checked his phone"
"He was constantly with his phone, he even smiled from time to time. We thought he was texting you", I bitterly smiled at his answer
Don't tell me he did it again.
"Sohee? Are you okay? I'm sorry-"
