Bleeping sound of a heart monitor, the smell of chemicals and the ever haunting sound of clock ticking woke my senses up as I regained conciousness. I attempted to open my heavy eyes couple of times befor it finally opened, I scanned my surrounding and I was right. The dull and sterile room with institutional tile floor greeted me, I'm in a hospital room.
"Sohee?" a faint voice was heard as I tried to see through the blurry vision.
"M-mom?" was all I managed to breathed out as she gasped and held my hand tight
"Oh god she's awake! Dear go call the doctor", my head slowly turned to a figure heading out of the room, it was Dad.
My head was pounding and I've never felt so weak. I was moving my fingers but I didn't feel a thing, like I was numb.
"What happened?", I tried to sit but a sting in my head prevented me from doing so
The door was opened to reveal my dad with a man dressed in white coat and stethoscope hanging around his collar and a lady in nurse outfit.
"Ms. Lee, my name is Dr. Im and you're in the hospital due to the accident. How are you feeling?" he checked my heart rate and vitals as I held my head in pain
"I feel dizzy", I informed him as the nurse wrote on my report paper.
"It's perfectly normal since the brain might still be in trauma state after the impact caused by the collision. Do you perhaps remember what happened?" he carefully asked as I closed my eyes for a moment.
Nothing.
"I... I don't remember anything", my eyes were getting teary as my mom hugged me
"No need to force yourself, Ms. Lee. The nurse will give you the medicine and rest well, okay? I want to see you in the best condition as soon as possible" Dr. Im smiled as I nodded
"Uhm doctor?" I called and he turned around
"Yes Ms. Lee?"
"H-how long was I unconscious?" My dad patted my head as the doctor smiled
"Two weeks"
I weakly lay against the bed while staring emptily at the ceiling. Many thoughts ran through my mind as I averted my gaze to the window that showed city lights at night.

I was running as fast as I can while passing through countless people that was walking on the streets. My mind was set on one place, the hospital.
"She's awake", I repeated it to myself endlessly as I reached the hospital.
An image of her lying helplessly on the hospital bed still lingered on my mind.
"Can I please know Lee Sohee's room?", I said while panting as the nurse checked the computer. Her parents said they moved Sohee to the VIP room but didn't quite tell exactly the room number.
"Oh yes sir, this patient is staying in room 556", I bowed slightly and said thankyou to the nurse.
Anxiety and nervousness filled my lungs as I kept on tapping my feet in the elevator.
Ding...
The elevator door opened and it read '5th floor' as I fasten my pace to search for her room.
"Lee Sohee", the name was written beside the door as I gulped hard. An overwhelming emotions filled my heart as I was relieved she's okay. I couldn't forgive myself if something fatal happened to her.
I slid the door open and looked up to see my beautiful angel laughing with her parents. Three heads turned around to see me, her father approached me and gave me a friendly hug and his mother rubbed my back as she escorted me to her bed.
"Sohee dear, Wonho's here", her mother informed her. She lost weight but she still looked stunning.
"Hey gorgeous. I miss you so much, you scared the hell out of me, Sohee", I carressed her cheeks but she flinched at my gesture.
She was scanning my features but her eyes seemed empty, unlike usual. She then scrunched her nose and pouted.
"What's wrong? Are you hurt or something?", I worriedly asked as she gave me a puzzled look. I reached for her hand but she moved away with an alarmed look on her face
"Who are you?"
I can't believe what I just heard. My mind went blank as I felt like I've been stabbed thousand of times in my chest. Her parents looked at me with pity as I gasped.
"W-what do you mean, babe? Don't joke around", My voice was trembling as she pierced her gaze at me
"Babe? Do I know you?"
I took a step back while tears were flowing out of my eyes. This can't be true, this kind of thing only happened in movies.
Sohee only stared at me with cold eyes until she uttered again the question that broke my heart to pieces...
