As we were getting closer to Sohee's room, I can see how anxious Wonho was at the moment. He kept on swaying and flickering his eyes from time to time, making me wonder what was up

"Yah Wonho, you said it's room 556, right?" Shownu's voice snapped me back to reality and the first thing that I saw was Wonho's confused face

"Yeah, room 556. Why did you stop?"

Shownu pointed at the room number next to me, it was written 556

"It's because we're here", I reminded Wonho as he hit his forehead

"Sorry, yeah-", Wonho hurriedly stood in front of the door and held the handle. We were waiting for him to open it, but he suddenly turned to see us

"What's wrong hyung?" Minhyuk asked bluntly as Wonho sighed deeply

"I need to tell you guys something"

"Well can't you just tell it after we see Sohee or?" I tried to muttered it in the most unoffending tone

"It's about Sohee", we all looked at each other before shutting our mouths and listen, "She got into a car accident three weeks ago"

"We know, hyung", Minhyuk stated the obvious as Wonho shook his head

"The impact of it was received by her head, brain some might say. It caused her to temporarily lose her memories"

"You're saying she's having an amnesia?" I uttered in disbelief as Wonho nodded

"But temporarily", he added, "I hope it's temporary"

"Why didn't you tell us earlier hyung?" Jooheon sounded hurt at the fact that Wonho kept this news from us

"I didn't want to concern you guys, especially you", Wonho looked at me, "She...doesn't remember me"

Our eyes were as wide as it can be, "How can that be?"

"I don't know", Wonho covered his face to prevent himself from tearing up, "I really don't know"

"If she can't remember the guy she had been dating for almost half of her life, what did that make us?" Jooheon cooed

"That's why you keep it a secret from us, isn't it?" I asked as the others looked at me, "You're afraid that she might not remember us"

"Yes"

Turning around, I found an unoccupied bench and decided to sit down, to collect myself together

"Hyungwon", Minhyuk looked at me in worry, "Whatever happens, we'll stay by her side"

"C-could you guys head in first? I need some time alone", I weakly smiled at them as Wonho patted my back

"I'm really sorry"

They all went inside as I leaned against the cold wall. Knowing the fact that your very bestfriend might not remember me at all, crushed me.

"Mom, why do you trust that Wonho so much?" She shifted her eyes from her paperwork to me and chuckled

"What kind of question is that?"

"You know, I mean you give him a very motherly pat and affection every time he's here, as if he's-"

"my own son?" mom laughed, "It's because your father and I have known Wonho since he was little. We knew how much he cares for you and we were so happy when we found out about your relationship"
