Do you know that feeling of absolute tranquility? When you're so deep in sleep it seriously feels like you're floating on a cloud? I loved that feeling, I lived for that feeling, I was experiencing that feeling.
Until i wasn't anymore.
It was all Drake's fault.
The familiar sound of "just hold on we're going home" broke me out of my slumber.
My fingers felt their way around my bedside table until they gripped my phone.
"Lyss, i swear to God if you woke me up to bring you water, i'm going to choke you." I answered without checking caller ID.
"Choking? You into that?" came a deep masculine voice that was definitely not my sister.
"Who is this?" I asked, still half asleep.
"I'll choke you with my d*ck baby." The man slurred.
A mixture of shock and anger permeated throughout my body and it was quick to rouse me fully. "What the f*ck?"
I moved the phone away from my ear but i could still hear the faint sound of a deep chuckle.
The light from the screen was so bright it took a few seconds for my eyes to adjust.
