Chapter 9

TIM POV: Its graduation day! Finally! Can't wait to start my new life in Nashville tomorrow with the woman I love. I don't ever want to let her go. I think we will be together forever.  After the ceremony I went to find Faith.. "Faith!" "oh hey Tim" I went and hugged her "are you okay?" "yeah, we will talk later" "oh okay" She than walked away. That was really weird. I hope she's not having second thoughts about Nashville.  I tried to find Faith before I left, but couldn't find her. I have no idea what's going on.  I keep thinking back, if I did something wrong, but couldn't. It's been a few hours or so since graduation. I was in my room making sure I had everything packed and ready to go. Faith and I are supposed to be leaving first thing in the morning, very early. I heard the door. I didn't pay attention to who it was till there was a knock at my bedroom door. "come in" "Tim.." "FAITH!" I ran over and hugged her. "Is everything alright?" "yeah kinda, look I'm sorry about earlier. I just.." she started to get tears falling from her eyes. "hey what's wrong? are you having second thoughts about Nashville?" "no nothing like that, it's just I need to tell you something" "okay what is it?" she took a deep breath. "Before graduation I found something out" "okay" I said confused. "Here have a seat" I said "thanks, okay well remember that night at the drive in" "oh yeah" I said smiling. She even smiled "well I haven't felt too well over the past couple of weeks on and off. I figured it was just stress of everything with graduation and Nashville or a stomach bug. But it wasn't"  "Faith whatever it is, you can tell me" "I don't know if.. no I need to tell you this" She than pulled something out of her purse and handed it to me. "What is this?" "Tim its a pregnancy test, I took it this morning and it came out positive!"  I was shocked I didn't know what to do or say. She than went to get up to leave. "Faith wait!" "for what Tim? your face just now, said it all" "no please, I was just surprised that's all" "yeah well I was also" "Look nothing is going to change how I feel about you. I love you and I still want to go to Nashville with you" "yeah me too but, now being pregnant I feel like my chances of getting that job and making it as a country singer are ruined" She started to cry. "Hey no it's not, don't say that. Look lets just continue with our plans for Nashville okay?" she smiled "okay, but I need to ask you something?" "Are you okay with this whole thing?" "yes I am, I love you so much and I will be there for you and our baby" She smiled and kissed me. "I love you so much Tim. I can't imagaine my life without you" "And you won't have to, now help me pack" she laughed "okay" Once we were done, we went downstairs to tell my mom. I told her last night about Nashville and she was very supportive. My dad Tug gave me some money to help. I was so greatful and happy especially now that we decided to have a father/son relationship. He couldn't come to graduation but sent me a very generous gift on top of what he already gave me for the move to Nashville.  "Mom" "yeah Tim, Hi Faith" "Hi Betty" "ummm.. we have something to tell you" "okay what is it?" "Come sit down" "okay" We all sat down. "Faith do you want me to tell her or do you?" "You can, I still haven't told my parents" "Tell me what and what haven't you told your parents yet Faith?" "Mom, Faith is....pregnant" My mom was shocked, Faith started to cry.
