FAITH POV: Today is the day I go down to Warner Brothers Records in hopes of getting a job. I really want this. I think working for a record label may help me learn a little about the music business. I want to be a country singer but I don't think I will let them know that at least not yet. I arrived at the office. "Hello, I'm Faith Perry" "Hi Faith, I'm Nancy, its nice to finally meet you" "You too" "Alright, so I'm going to show you what you'd be doing and go over everything with you" "okay" "are you nervous?" "Just a little sorry" "oh its fine. I understand, I felt the same way when I got this job. Just relax I have a good feeling about you" That made me smile and relax "Thank you" I was than showed everything I'd be doing. I think I got it! "So, want to try?" "yes" I than started answering phones and doing everything, before I knew it was time to go home. "Faith, you did a fantastic job. I am very surprised how quick you learned all this" "Thank you so much" "okay so I will see you tomorrow?" "Really? I got the job?" "YES of course!" "Thank you so much" "Now go home, enjoy" "Wait there's something I need to tell you and I'm scared that you may reconsider me" "I doubt that, but what is it?" "Well I found before I moved here, that I'm..pregnant" "Oh wow" "I'm sorry, I will be going now" I said with tears in my eyes as I was about to leave "Faith wait" I turned around, I was wiping my tears from my eyes. "hey it's okay Faith, you're still hired" "Really?" "Yes of course! you're one of the best I've seen so far, and the fastest to learn. I think you will be a great addition to Warner Brothers" "Thank you so much" "Now, No nore more tears! I will see you tomorrow, oh and congratsulations!" "Thank you" I said and went home. When I got home Tim wasn't home. I went on the couch and just lied down. I fell asleep but woke up when I heard Tim coming home. "Hey" "Hey sorry I woke you" "no it's fine, just taking a little nap" "Well I missed you" He said and sat down next to me and gave me a kiss. I smiled "so how did it go?" "Very well I got the job" "that's awesome baby, I'm so proud of you" "Thanks" "What's wrong" "nothing but I did tell her about the baby" "And?" "She was fine with it" "Well that's good" "yeah I was so scared to tell her and after I did, I thought that was it! but she surprised me" "well I'm so happy for you" "Well I also got a doctors appointment tomorrow after work" "Oh okay, want me to come with you?" "if you could" "Of course I could" "so what did you do today?" "Well I went looking for some work. I got a band together!" "Wow that was quick" "yeah I had a little afternoon gig I did down at one of the downtown local sports bars and I was doing an acoustic thing. I met this guy named Deano and we just hit off, than he said he knew some guys and before I knew it I had a band together" "Thats awesome baby" "Yeah oh and I got a gig tomorrow night also" "Thats great!" "so I was wondering if would like to come see my show tomorrow night?" "Absolutely" "awesome, so after your appointment we will head downtown" "Sounds good" "okay so how about I take my fiance' out to dinner to celebrate" "sure"
