Chapter 20

FAITH POV: My first gig went great. If felt so good be up on a stage singing in front of all those people. They liked me so much, they asked me to come back and sing and of course I said yes!. I just have to get through this work day. I think the baby loves when I sing, everytime I do, he or she is a little more active. I smile. I still can't believe sometimes there's a tiny little human growing inside me. Okay done with work, now off to go home. I got home showered and changed and than off to the sports bar downtown. Tim said he'd meet me there. He wants to come see me perform. I arrive and go to my dressing room to prepare. Its almost showtime. I haven't heard from Tim. I get out my phone to call him. "Hello" "Hey are you coming?" "yeah I'm actually just pulling in" "okay" "I will see in a bit" "Okay" I than hung up. Just as I was walking out, I saw Tim. He made sure he was right up front.  After my set he came over and hugged me. "That was awesome baby" "Thanks" "Alright, so you ready to go?" "yeah, just let grab my stuff" "Okay" I than went to my dressing room to grab my things. Just as I was about to leave, I was approached by a man. "Faith.." "Yes?" "Hi my name is Gary, I'm a manager for some other big names artists out there. I heard you sing both nights and I Think you're amazing" "Why thank you" "I'd like to help you" I looked at Tim and he looked at me and nodded like go for it. "seriously?" "yes I think you're an amazing talent" "thanks" "Anyway just think about it, here's my card. So before you decide, you can do your own research" "Thanks I will" We than left and went home. When I got home, I was so tired. "I'm tired, I'm just going to go to bed" "oh okay" Tim said almost disappointed "What's wrong?" "nothing I just wanted to spend a little time with you. I feel like we haven't seen each other in a while" "I'm sorry, but I've been working" "Well so have I!" I was shocked "I'm going to bed" I said and walked off annoyed.  I was lying in bed trying to fall asleep, when Tim came in. He sat down on the bed "Faith I'm sorry" I turned around. "no don't be, you're right" "no I was wrong, I just miss you so much" "I miss you too" "well if you have nothing planned tomorrow, what do you say we have a date night?" "I'd like that" I said and smiled. He kissed me and than held me in his arm and I soon fell asleep
