1 WEEK LATER:

FAITH POV: We are in Mississippi, my hometown, where I was born and grew up and met Tim. I'm so nervous being here for many reasons. The main one is meeting my birth mom. My parents are going to watch JT for us. I wanted Tim to come with me. I can't do this alone. "hey baby you ready?" "yeah" "hey it's going to be okay. I will be with you every step of the way" I smiled "okay Mama, daddy we are leaving" "Alright honey, just remember we love you very much" "I love you both so much also and thanks for understanding" "of course, we knew one day this would happen and we are perfectly fine with it." "But before I go, I want you both to know, you are and will always be my only mother and father. You both raised me and I love and thank you so much for everything!" "oh honey" "don't cry mama" "it's happy tears" We gave JT a kiss and left. We decided to meet at a park. We pulled in and parked "okay you ready?" Tim asked "yeah" We got out of the car and Tim grabbed and held my hand. We walked over to a bench and sat down. A few minutes or so an older lady walks up to us. "Are you..Faith?" "yes I am" I said and stood up and Tim did also. "hi I'm...Sandy" I took one look at her and knew she was my mother. I look just like her! We shook hands and sat down. "this is my husband Tim" "Hi Tim" "Hi nice to meet you" "you too" I looked at Tim "Can you give us a few minutes?" "Sure, if you need me. Just call me" I nodded and Tim got up and walked away. "I know you have questions she said" "yeah I do. So why did you give me up? did you not want me?" "oh dear, no I was young. I was just 17 years old. I hid you from my parents. If they would've known.." she started to cry "so why couldn't you tell your parents?" "you see back than getting pregnant as a teen and most of all not married was a terrible sin. I would've gotten beaten so badly" "oh wow" "I just wanted the best for you and I know the adoption agency found you the best parents" "yes they did. I grew up with very loving parents and two brothers" "well I'm glad" "so what happened to my father? did he know about me?" "Yes he knew about you and he helped me so much. In fact once we were old enough we got married and I had another baby, a boy. Your brother! "oh wow so I have a..brother?" "yes" "does he know about me?" "yes I told him and he would very much like to meet you whenever you want to" "so what's his name?" "It's Zachary, well he goes by Zack. He is married to a wonderful woman named Janice. In fact she's pregannt with their first child" "oh wow, that's great and yes I would love to meet him and his wife whenever" she smiled "now can you tell me what happened to my father?" "yes" she said as she put her head down. I can see this was painful for her. "well about a year or so after Zach was born, he was killed in a car crash" "oh wow, can you tell me his name?" "yes it was.. James Hill" "I'm very happy I got to meet you and thank you for answering my questions" "it's no problem and I hope we can stay in touch" "sure! Oh I should tell you, I have a son. His name is Jakob Timothy, we call him JT. He is over a year old. "oh" "yeah on my high school graduation I found out I was pregnant before I moved to Nashville to fulfill my dream to become a country singer and that dream has come true" "Is Tim his father?" "yes he is and he's a great dad" "Well I'm glad. Maybe one day I can meet him" "I'd like that. Okay well I need to get going I have a show tonight" "oh okay, well maybe I can watch you sing sometime?" "sure why don't you come tonight? I can leave a ticket for you?" "That would be lovely, thank you" "okay than see you tonight" I said and got up and left.
