Chapter 44

TIM POV: I'm glad Faith got to meet her birth mother and it went very well. She seems to be a very nice lady. Faith invited her to the show tonight, she said she was coming but who knows.  The show was just beginning and Faith took the stage. I stood at the side of the stage holding JT. He loves watching his mommy sing and so do I! Once she was done she came over to us. "Great job baby" "Thanks" she said and took JT. "well did she come?" "yeah she did, she was with a man. I don't know who it is though" "well maybe she will introduce you" "yeah maybe" "okay well I need get out there" "Okay I love you" "Love you too" I started to walk out but stopped "wait Faith" She turned around "Yeah.." "I have an idea, how would you like to come out and sing with me song?" "really? you want to duet?" "yeah sure why not" "Alright sure what song? we didn't rehearse" "Well we kinda did, remember the song we always sing, Nobody Knows It But Me?" "yeah, okay lets do it" "Great!  well I will let you know when we are ready" "okay" she said and went to her dressing room. I was in the middle of my show when I had one of my crew guys go get Faith. I spoke to my band and they were ready. "Ladies And Gentleman, we have a surprise for you all tonight. Being back home here in Mississippi is not only special to me but to Faith. Hope you all enjoy this song" I said and motioned for my band to start playing. I started to sing. Then I saw Faith standing on the side holding her mic. I than motioned for her to come out and start singing and she did. The crowd went crazy. They loved it and at the end of the song I kissed her and she went off stage. I than finished my set. I went back to my dressing room and Faith was in there. "That was great baby" I said and hugged her. "you were amazing out there" "and you were also" she said. Than there was a knock at the dressing room door "Want me to get it?" I asked "no its okay I got it" she went and opened the door and there stood her birth mom and some guy.

FAITH POV: I opened the door and their stood my birth mother Sandy and some guy I've never seen before. "Hi Faith, can we come in?" "Sure" I said and motioned for them to come in and I than closed the door behind them. "Faith, this is Zack" "Hi I'm Faith, nice to meet you" "You too" He said. He looked extremely nervous. "Come have a seat" I said "oh Zack, this is my husband Tim" "Hi nice to meet you" Tim said and shook his hand. "Tim you remember Sandy" "yes of course, nice to see you again" We all sat down and talked and got to know each other. Then there was another knock at the door. "Excuse me" I said and opened it. "hey what are you doing here?" I asked "can we come in?" My dad asked "yeah sure" Than everyone stood up. "Mama, daddy, this is Sandy and her son Zack" "hi nice to meet you both" I couldn't tell if this was hard on my parents or not. They seemed okay. We all sat around and talked and got to know each other. I think it went really well. Than everyone left.  "you okay?" Tim asked "yes better than okay" I said and smiled.
