Chapter 30

TIM POV: "What are you talking about?" I asked "Well Tim, it just so happens your mom is here" "Are you joking?" "No he's not" My mom said as she walked in. She came over and hugged us both. "You look amazing Faith" "Thanks Betty" "It's good to see you mom, now why surprise me?" "Because we thought it would be fun" We all laughed. "oh and your sisters sent this" my mom said and handed Faith and I a card. "here you open it" I said to Faith as I handed her the card. "okay" She opened it and inside was a check for $100. "oh wow" Faith said as she showed me the check. My mom also gave Faith a card and insde was more money. We were both so overwhelmed with everything. Faith turned to me with tears in her eyes, "We now have, well will have all we need for this little guy when he arrives" "yes we will" "Hey everyone" Faith said loud. Everyone stopped talking and it got real quiet "Tim and I just want to thank you all so much for this. You all just out did yourselves. We couldn't ask for better friends and family. We love you all" Everyone clapped.  Byron helped me get everything to my truck.  "thanks man for doing this" "oh it's our pleasure Tim" Soon the shower was over and everyone left. Faith and I wanted to help to clean everything up, but Missi and Byron insisted, they got it. Faith's parents and my mom came back to the house with us. "you all are welcome to stay here" "do you have the room?" "yeah kinda" I said "I mean it's a 2 bedroom apartment, so we have an extra room and the couch opens up to a bed" "okay than we will stay" "good" "Ted and Edna you both take the bedroom" My mom said "are you sure Betty?" "Of course" "thank you" "oh it's no problem" "Well we are tired, and going to get some sleep" Edna said "okay Goodnight Mama, daddy. I'm so glad you both came" Faith said and hugged her parents "We wouldn't miss this for anything" "thank you" They than went to the guest room. "okay Mom I'm going to get a sheet and pillows and a blanket for you" "okay thank you" I than went to the linen closet and got what I needed and helped my mom settle before going to the bedroom where Faith was already there. I got in bed. Faith turned to me "thank so much again for tonight" "you're welcome, but got to give the credit more to Byron and Missi" "true, but you did a lot for me and I love them for it and I love you" " I smiled  "I love you too" I gave her a kiss and than we went to sleep.
