Gotta admit - as much as I love Nine and Rose, Ten and Rose are just too bloody cute. So easy to see them as Anna's parents. :)

"That settles it," Rose plopped down on the couch in the library, the Doctor raising an eyebrow from the book he was reading. "I am never watching telly for a while."
The Doctor smirked. "Mara's in bed?"
"Yep," Rose nodded. "Went smoother than it did after Madame de Pompadour."
The Doctor winced. "I messed that adventure up."
"You're telling me," she snorted.
"Thank you, by the way."
"For what?"
He grinned. "Punching Mr. Connolly."
Rose snorted even louder at that. "Oh, he had it coming."
"Yes, he did, but you were the one that punched him."
"What, you would have?"
"Probably."
Rose grinned, her tongue in her teeth. "I would have paid to see that."
He smiled sheepishly. "Well . . . "
She just giggled and leaned back, kicking her feet up onto the table. "It was fun, though. Aside from nearly getting my face taken." She frowned at the Doctor. "You all right?"
"Fine," he nodded.
"It's just, I wondered why she stopped."
The Doctor held up his sonic screwdriver. "She was afraid of this."
Rose shrugged. "OK, I can see that."
"She was ready to take my daughter's face, and I wasn't exactly happy with that," the Doctor reminded her.
"Oh, neither was I," Rose smirked.
"Trust me, I could tell," the Doctor stood up, heading for the door. "Tea?"
"I'll have some, yeah," Rose followed after him.
"I suppose that should be the new rule number one," he thought out loud as they headed for the kitchen. "Family matters most."
"That rule I can follow," Rose agreed. "Family matters."
"Good."
They walked in silence before Rose finally had to ask. "King and Queen of Belgium?"
"I did not think that," the Doctor held up his hands.
"Then how did that show up?"

Anna smiled to herself as she heard the two pass, then whispered, "Thank you, TARDIS."
She heard a small beep before she rolled over onto her side and fell asleep.
