And here we go, people - here come the ghosts and the finale of "Torchwood" - well, part one, anyway. Along with an interlude, possibly two depending on how nice I am, and then Anna's diary ending.
I hope to finish this by Sunday, but with Mom getting surgery tomorrow and a college essay to write, we'll see how long "Doomsday" and the endings take. But it'll all be worth it in the end. :)
A footprint doesn't always look like a boot, the Time-Tyler family is split up, Anna speaks up, and Rose calls her something different.

"Mum, it's us!" Rose called as they entered the Tyler flat, taking off the heavy rucksack on her back. "We're back!"
"Oh, I don't know why you bother with that phone!" Jackie appeared, walking over as the Doctor closed the door behind them. "You never use it!"
"Shut up!" Rose laughed. "Come here!"
"Oh, I love you!" Jackie hugged her.
"I love you!"
"I love you so much!"
The Doctor attempted to sneak past the hugging blondes when Jackie pulled away. "Oh, no, you don't! Come here!" She kissed the Doctor right on the mouth, Rose laughing as Anna blinked, watching from behind her father. "Oh, you lovely big fella! Oh, you're all mine!"
"Just," the Doctor sputtered, squirming as he tried to get away from jackie. "Just, just put me down!"
"Yes, you are!"
"Jackie!" Anna held up her arms for a hug. "Please?"
"And there's the little angel!" Jackie beamed, bending down and scooping Anna up as the Doctor made a face at Rose, sticking his tongue out. Rose just patted his arm sympathetically. "There's my sweet girl!"
"I've got loads of washing for you," Rose told Jackie. "And I got you this." She held up a bronze-looking knickknack. "It's from the market on this asteroid bazaar. It's made of, er . . . "
"Bazoolium!" Anna cheered with a grin.
"Bazoolium," Rose chuckled. Anna had been saying that name ever since because it had been so much fun to say. "When it gets cold, yeah? It means it's going to rain. When it's hot, it's going to be sunny. You can use it to tell the weather."
"I've got a surprise for you and all," Jackie told her, heading for the kitchen.
Rose rolled her eyes. "Oh, I get her bazooolium, she doesn't even say thanks."
"Guess who's coming to visit?" Jackie smiled. "You're just in time. He'll be here at ten past. Who do you think it is?"
"I don't know."
"Oh, go on! Guess!"
"No, I hate guessing. Just tell me."
"It's your granddad!" Jackie beamed, and Anna frowned when Rose's face blanched. "Granddad Prentice, he's on his way any minute. Right, cup of tea!"
"She's gone mad," Rose declared.
"Tell me something new," the Doctor snorted.
"I think Miss Jackie got a new rug," Anna tilted her head.
The Doctor snorted at that and quickly covered his mouth, but Rose just shook her head and explained. "Granddad Prentice, that's her dad. But he died, like, ten years ago. Oh, my God, she's lost it. Mum?" she hurried into the kitchen. "What you said about Granddad . . . "
